M&M Honda Collection…
I’ve been on a real M&M Honda kick lately on Facebook and since I remembered that many of you aren’t on Facebook, I figured today would be as good of a day as any to just unload a bunch of photos from their Facebook page. I posted up a photo of the M&M FD2 over the weekend and I didn’t even know they followed The Chronicles. To be perfectly honest, I didn’t even know they had a Facebook page for their company so I was surprised when I clicked over and saw so many great shots of their cars on their page. They were full-size too so I took the liberty of downloading them and re-sizing them to fit the format of this page. If you are a member of Facebook and want to “Like” or follow them, I will include a link below of their page. Today, we are going to take a moment to check out their collection of builds produced in-house from their facilities. A lot of their aero components are from various other tuners but they do manufacture their own parts, be it performance or aero-related. I’ve been familiar with their shop for a couple of years now but they aren’t all that well-known worldwide compared to say, Mugen or Spoon Sports so some of you may very well have not heard of them before this. You’ve probably seen some photos of their cars here and there, but didn’t know that they came from this shop. The Japanese Honda scene is very different from our own. The majority of the more “built” Hondas over there are built with track or circuit racing in mind and aren’t driven very much on the streets or taken to local meets. Some of them are just pure-bred race vehicles so the only time you will ever see photos of them are on the track. In any case, check out the pics below. As for specs, I wish I had more information on the cars but I don’t. I am not all that familiar with their stable of cars and some of them I too am seeing for the first time. Many of the photos are also dated as well and pretty old. They are just an assortment of shots that they posted up and range from the early-mid 2000s to now…
This DC2 is probably a build that you have seen once or twice before if you regularly peruse Integra photo threads on your favorite Honda forums…
It’s one of my personal favorite Integras of all-time and I was pretty happy when I stumbled upon more photos of it…
I love how the front fenders are done as well as the rear fender flare. The C-West kit usually looks so bulky but with flares like this, it actually makes the car look more complete…
This thing is just all business…Cool to see Regamaster Evos being utilized too…
A couple shots of a more streetable version of their DC2…
M&M Honda EK9…
C-West aero just like the Integra…
Rocking some Altezza-style Civic taillights, haha….We will let it slide since the rest of the car looks on point…
M&M Honda CL7 is another one of my favorites…
Wish I had a better shot of the bay but it seems these guys have no problems mixing Spoon Sports and Mugen products on their race cars…
AP Racing brakes…
An older shot of it before the graphics and other additions….
Best shot of the bay that I could muster….
Another CL7, not sure if this is one of their customers or one of their other personal demo cars….this one sits on BBS LMs…
M&M DC5R….
Mugen front bumper with custom ventilation…
Some bigger photos, these are like HDR style or something…I didn’t do any of it so if you don’t like it, don’t blame me, haha…
Interior of the DC5R….
Weird how it has individual throttle bodies but the air box is still in place…maybe this was an unfinished shot…
Cool shot of the canards and the SSR Type-C wheels…there is also a glimpse of the AP Racing brakes as well…
Really liked this shot of the brakes and how you can see the wear and battle scars from abuse inside the wheel wells…
One more shot…Notice the front staggered set-up of the wheels…
M&M Honda Beat….
Sitting on Watanabe wheels… Notice the center exhaust even though it’s barely visible…
Drive in comfort with the fuel cell sitting next to you….haha…I like the over fender action too…
M&M FD2 Civic R…I think this one is their flagship vehicle now….Not a huge fan of the front bumper but it seems to flow pretty well with everything else…
One of my favorite parts on this FD2 is the front fenders….
The rear is pretty wild but it all comes together nicely. It’s good that they have these naked shots of it so you can see all the lines of the kit before all the graphics they put on it…
An overhead shot…
Here it is with the M&M graphical livery….
In the two shots above you can see the rear bumper and how the diffuser ties into it….Interesting that each end is vented….
Side profile shot in front of some Mayan temple, haha….
This is a pretty crazy shot…would have been perfect without the Toyota Corolla in the background….
A pair of M&M Honda S2000s…both wearing Spoon front bumpers….
Prodrive wheels…
You can get a sense of how small their shop is in this photo….
Pretty cool stuff right?… If you guys want to check out their official Facebook page for more photos, click on the link below. “Like” their page too….
The Official M&M Honda Facebook Page…
Oh before you go, they also have a collection of some really good videos of their cars in action. It’s mainly of the CL7 and the FD2 but it’s cool to see these things in action…
That’s a wrap…have a good one….
Stuff you should really look at…
Outside of all the events that have gone on lately, there’s actually quite a bit of stuff you guys should check out online that you might be interested in. Some of it you may not have heard or seen yet and there’s also a chance you’ve seen and heard all of it already, regardless, here we go…

It’s actually been out for a couple weeks now but if you haven’t had a chance to check it out, please go pick up the newest issue of Super Street magazine…

…Not only does it have a cover feature about an RX-7 from Japan owned by a surgeon…

..it also has this S2000 from Team Emotion that I had the pleasure of writing up the story for. It’s Spoon’d out S2K from the east that’s definitely worth checking out…

This issue is particularly special to me because I had the opportunity to shoot this Honda F20C-powered AE86 Corolla. I did the story and photos for it and in my honest opinion, I think it represents my best photo-work yet. I started out almost a year ago not knowing shit about taking pictures and I think I’ve learned a lot during that time and the shots of the Corolla in SS really show how much I have improved. Even if you don’t agree with me, the car is totally badass and worth looking at anyway. One of the reasons why the photos came out so good is because the car was incredibly easy to shoot. I couldn’t be happier with it and when the next issue comes out, I’ll probably put up the shots that weren’t used in the mag. There’s a bunch of pics leftover that weren’t run in the magazine and The Chronicles will definitely be the only place where you will get the chance to see those shots…

Here are some quick shots of PG+K Jay’s S2000 during a track day out at Road Atlanta. I love the way the car looks and to see it out on the track is truly a treat. It’s good to see one of the 2009/2010 Top Ten Hondas still doing big things and all in one piece. People are so quick to part-out/sell/build another car that you never get to see the owners use the cars to their full capabilities…

Fucking love it!…shout out to Jay, can’t wait to chill at Wek’Fest 2011 this coming year!! Look how focused he is in the last shot, haha. Dude almost stared a hole through his windshield…

Speaking of being on the track, the 5Zigen FD2 Civic Type R recently broke the FWD lap record at the Tsukuba Circuit during the recent RevSpeed Super Battle. The K20A turbocharged FD2 on nitrous ran a best time of 58.222 at Tsukuba and I’ve heard that this Civic makes around 500hp. It’s a pretty big deal for 5Zigen, especially on this particular track. I wanna build one of these Civics so bad…oh man, you guys have no idea….
Here’s a video of the record-setting lap at Tsukuba. Remember to turn up the volume so you can hear this thing scream, it sounds fucking nasty!….I love it…
If you want to see more pics of it and read more about the 5Zigen FD2 Civic, check the link here…
Before I go, I think you guys should also check out the JDMYard meet coverage held down in Australia. They certainly know how to build cars down there…

Great looking Mugen Integra on aggressive Volk CE28 wheels…The meet marked the debut of this project for them and they’re not nearly done with it yet so it’s worth keeping an eye on…

This EG hatch is one of the sickest builds to come from JDMYard. Everything about it is on point, fromt he J’s lip to the K-swap. If it were over here stateside it would give a couple guys a run for their money…I love the way the 949 wheels fit as well. Nothing to retarded crazy though, it’s just a clean build with a nice swap and all the right parts…
Photo credit goes to the dudes that shot the pics and you can see the rest of them on the NWP4Life forums here….
That’s all for today, I hope this rain goes away soon before the holidays come this weekend…I’m out for now, Peace!
It was a good day…
I just wanna begin by saying a big thanks for the overwhelming response to yesterday’s post. Not so much comment-wise but just clearly in views. So many people clicked on those links from yesterday that I guess I was right in assuming that many of the new viewers hadn’t seen the list before. Even #1 of the 10, Donut, hadn’t even seen it before and he was the top car. Guess it shows how big this piece has gotten since then….
Anyways, the “Mugen MF’ers” pics also got quite a response, especially on S2ki and they normally don’t like anything haha. If you guys actually read through that post, then you’ll have seen me mention that I might go and reshoot Brian’s DC5 because those shots just didn’t come out very well and I ran out of time. Well I actually did go out and reshoot it and the pics came out great. I didn’t even like the pics from that last time but I guess it worked out cuz people really enjoyed them. If you liked those, then hopefully you’ll like these even more….
This car needs no introduction, you’ve all heard about it already…so here are the pics…same as usual, I’m posting the re-sized one and provided you links to larger versions…

Mil-spec engine harness and custom tucked and relocated A/C lines…

New Vision mirrors…

Hope you guys like them….I’m out, tired as shit…
Mugen MF’ers…
I’ll be honest, I was a little hesitant to put these pics up at first because I just wasn’t happy with how the shots came out originally. Probably more of a composition thing because I hadn’t shot at that spot before and I had never shot multiple cars at one time so it threw me off. I almost trashed them but Jared bought me dinner and it would seem like kind of a waste to just not do anything with them so I did what I could to salvage them. I even had to edit them multiple times. The first batch I did I thought looked good initially. And then I woke up the next morning and was not happy with them at all. Delete, file open, and the re-edits began…If you don’t like them, my bad…but I think the final edits came out pretty well considering how it started out…It’s all natural lighting too which reminds me that I should really try to get some flashes if I want to take this photography thing seriously….
Like the NSX shoot, I’ve included larger versions and even widescreen versions for you guys. The layout here is very limited in size and if I keep posting up every image that’s like over a meg in size, the fucking site will shit all over ur computer…
Oh and another thing…I expected Jared to show up with his usual M7 set-up and then he decided to be cute and rolled up on MF10s like the other two….Shit fucked me up. Dark ass car on dark ass wheels, thanks Jared….thanks for the dinner too….

This last one came out weird…I shot it in the dark basically and it actually came out…haha…who knew…

I might go take some new shots of Brian’s DC5 later today because I didn’t have enough time to shoot his car much last time…we’ll see how it goes…
