Time to close it out folks, SEMA 2010 coverage is coming to an end in this 7th and final post. Enjoy… Oh and if you missed the update yesterday because it wasn’t posted until later in the afternoon, Part 6 is here.
Seibon CR-Z…the front bumper treatment is kinda cool but I don’t know if it flows well with the rest of the car…
I’m not gonna lie, I think I stood around a good 3 minutes waiting to see if the chick on the right’s boob was gonna fall out. It was pretty close but I got nothing…haha…
Nexen RX-8 drift car…
Red Bull Genesis drift car…
Falken Tire Porsche…
Falken Tire models…
Chris Rado AWD tC…
R35 GTR…
A couple cars from Team Hybrid…
I like this widebody EVO. I’ve always been a fan of wingless EVOs and this one pulls it off nicely…
4-Rotor RX-8 built by BMI Racing….
Goldmember’s xB…
Midnight Purple R35 GTR…
A couple more Hondas from outside…
Porsche Cayenne with Tech-Art aero and Weds Kranze Bazreia wheels, interesting combination…
Another bBSquad member…
Top Secret widebody S2000…
Last shot I took before I made my way into the final hall that I missed….
Okay, so throughout the week I basically walked every area twice except for the first hall. This hall was for products, paint, and audio stuff. It was that important for me to go through but I did finally manage to walk inside and see what was goingo n in there…
This was ummm…interesting…
I walked over to the Mazda area and saw this Mazda 2 on 949 wheels. It’s a good looking car that’s well-executed. I thought that Mazda got a raw deal by being placed in this hall. I didn’t see much traffic going through there by that Friday and that actually had some really cool cars there…
Mazdaspeed RX-8 race car…
The front end and splitter on this Mazda was fucking bananas…I guess all the work that Chris Rado has been doing with his front end has inspired others to do similar…
Saw this same Mustang at SEMA 2009 too I believe. The whole build is fucking sick…I don’t know about the hood facing the crowd though. The hood basically blocks everyone’s view of the engine bay…
Audi was also stuck in this hall where nobody else was. Their display was so-so according to Phaze2 Tony, who works for Audi, and he was complaining all week about how weak it was. This R8 convertible is crazy though!…
That was pretty much the last of the pics from the actual show itself. After I finished up, I drove back to the hotel and just took a break. I went out with May later that day to go hang out on the strip some more and got back in time to meet up with some friends, who were coming out to spend time in Vegas for the weekend. They wouldn’t get their to late so there was no point in them booking an extra night and so we just told them to spend the night at our spot since it was so big…
Tony enjoying a glass of wine and checking his messages. He went out later that night to go clubbing or whatever and we just stayed in to rest…
The homies after they showed up early in the am…They tried to stay up from 5am or so until their check-in time at their own hotel at 1pm but that obviously didn’t happen. Dudes crashed out and they were all over the living room area…
The next day, it was time to pack up and head back home. Mikeyyyy was smart and called-in for late check-out so we had more time to get our stuff and chill…
We even had time to go to South Point and grab some food from the Del Mar Deli inside…
Once we got all of our stuff, it was time to take off. Tony had left his car at a friend’s house off the Vegas strip since he didn’t want to take the risk of leaving his car in a public parking lot. Only downside to that was that he had to wake up incredibly early to go get the car back since Big Mike was also parked there. Big Mike had a photoshoot with Banzai magazine in the U.K. and Tony’s car was blocking his in from getting out. Tony had to go grab his car and then stopped by to say bye to his cousin before he met up with us again…
Travis ended up meeting up with us as well so that he could caravan back with us. We all met up and then headed to the Nevada state line. Salem and Murdock were there at the outlets and we decided to grab lunch before making the 4 hour drive back to Cali…
We did some shopping of our own. Tony is an avid chef so he took advantage of the sales at the outlets and purchased some cooking gear…
Travis didn’t have anything that he needed to buy so he just stood around and held his cock…
Everytime we go to Vegas, we always see the Mad Greek. Ads are usually everywhere and the food was supposed to be really good so we finally went and tried it. There’s actually one that’s not too far from where I live in Socal but I never had the opportunity to drive over there and try it…
Guess the guys weren’t that excited about it…
The food was great…the only thing that made me iffy about it…
…was that I had no idea what “BEFF” was…
After we finished eating it was back on the road…
One last stop when we were half way home. Tony’s got Sorcery aero, concave CE28 wheels, supercharger, etc., but he doesn’t have a working radio, so he drove all the way home with the music of his loud ass exhaust. Even if you drive near him there’s a chance you can go deaf from the sound…
That’s all folks. The next day we drove all the way down to San Diego for the 2010 VIP Festival and the coverage for that has already been posted before the SEMA coverage even went up. It was a great trip and I look forward to making the trip out there every year. I love Vegas and the SEMA show and hanging out with all the homies and May just make it that much better. Thanks for looking…I’m out for now. If you guys don’t hear from me tomorrow it’s because I’m celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. If you do hear from me, it means I’m bored and have plenty of time to update…haha. Either way, stay safe everyone.
Apparently that Mazda 3 with the crazy front splitter makes 520 horsepower. WTF?
