Eibach Honda Meet 2011 Coverage…Part 6…The Finale…

Well, it’s time to formally announce the end to The Chronicles 2011 Eibach Honda Meet coverage…Hopefully you guys are happy with what you saw. There was a little bit of everything; From Bisi’s wedding the day before, the actual event itself, and now the end of the meet. Overall it was a great event. The rain didn’t stop anyone from coming out and by the end of the day, it seemed that everyone left happy. There’s always a little bit of drama every year that makes for a good story. This year it was the Integra that was towed in the morning but other than that, no crazy drama or anything went on to ruin anyones day. I’m gonna close it out with just a couple of pics that were left over…

Another shot of ATS Jay’s super clean CR-X. The bay on this thing is absolutely amazing…

This was kind of a random shot I took but I thought it was kinda cool. Shows off the J’s Racing valve cover against the silver paint…

DPK David’s coupe of course…

Never hurts to have one more pic of these two together…

Took another shot of this 4-door since he moved from the side of the building over to the front. I’m a fan of the Domani front, regular Civic front bumper retrofitted, and the Chargespeed front lip…

Old Skool’s Mugen DC2 Type R…

Big Mike rolled out of the vendor building to go park near us so that we could figure out what to eat after we cleaned up…

Rear shot of Sunny’s Insight…

Rando front bumper on Chris Sakai’s Civic…

Another shot of the RSX I showed you guys yesterday on the GTR-face Regamaster EVOs…

OldManJames’ S2K…

Honda Fit that belongs to a girl from Oregon or somewhere in that area…

Rhett’s Spoon Sports brakes and Mugen wheels…

Totally random shot of DPK David jump roping…

The ATS Garage guys putting Anh’s J’s Racing hood back on his Integra…

Phil Robles didn’t get to bring his Civic out since it had an unfortunate encounter with a flying canopy but he did make the trip out with some of the Arizona Honda guys. Here he is talking to them as they were getting set to leave…

ICB Matt, Phil, and friends hanging out around Rhett’s ITR…

Not really sure what to think about the Buddy Club kit on the S2000…It’s definitely an interesting look but I don’t know if I’m a fan…

Raul and the CheckerdSports legit JDM RHD EG leaving the vendor garage…

N1 Concepts debuted their new project S3200 at Eibach and here they are loading the car back into their trailer to take home to Norcal…

Gil’s Circuit Hero DC2R going back on the trailer so that they could make the trip home to San Diego…

Caught a photo of this TSX on what looks to be Work Rezax II wheels as it was on it’s way out of the venue…

Chris Sakai and Sunny Wong chatting it up as we were all getting in our cars to go home…

After we decided where to go eat dinner at, we all took off on a huge caravan back to the Rywire facilities to drop the cars off. We were all pretty beat by that point so the food was a welcome change from walking around all day. We ended up eating at Brodards in Westminster, CA and stopped by one of our favorite drink spots after to grab this wonderful concoction known as “Gone Bananas”. It’s like coffee mixed with bananas and chocolate…shit is wonderful, except Chris Sakai got the most watered-down drink since he got the last of the 9+ orders that we had.. Not much else happened after that. We went back to Ryan’s shop, hung out, talked some shit like we usually do and then we parted ways. The Norcal homies went back home and I was finally able to sleep for a change after not sleeping the 2-3 previous days…

Even though it was a whole hell of a lot of work, it was definitely worth it. It’s gonna go down as one of the many highlights of 2011 and I can’t wait to do it again with the homies. Thanks for looking and being patient through all 6 parts of the Eibach 2011 coverage. Now back to work on some other photos. Back tomorrow hopefully with some ItsJDMYo!!! 1-Year Anniversary coverage…
