Wekfest Los Angeles 2011 Coverage…Part 3…

Back now with part 3 of the Wekfest LA 2011 coverage…Hope you guys are enjoying the coverage so far. There’s plenty more to come and I’ll try to get as much of it up as I can before I take a little vacation for the weekend. By this point in the coverage, the gates had opened and people were starting to trickle in. I made sure to cover most of our area and the surrounding areas before the crowds got too big. Today we’re going to be taking more detailed looks at certain builds and pics of some cars that were new to me…

ATS Angel’s S2000…

Figure I’d take a pic of my own car for once…

The new Phaze2 logo that I designed recently. I really wanted to do something with a more classy look for the guys with the VIP-themed builds in the crew and it got a lot of positive responses…

Phaze2 Tony, who you’re probably more familiar with as the owner of the Sorcery widebody NSX, brought out his daily 1st gen. Lexus GS300…I like how he accidently put his WF*LA on his windshield upside down and didn’t even notice…

Tony’s NSX of course, now on some aggressive bronze Volk TE37s. He wasn’t too sure about the look when he first got the wheels but everyone agreed that it looked great…Can bronze TEs really look bad on any car though? Seriously…

HeyMikeyyyy decided to change things up and redo his CCWs in two different colors. It totally changed up the whole look of the car and he’s been wanting to add color to his wheels for awhile now. The white on polish/chrome look was cool but it was a little too plain, especially since Mikeyyyy’s always trying to do some wild shit to his car…

Phaze2 Bert with a random white vinyl wrap job on his car that he got for free. I told him to either add a red stripe in between to break up the colors a little bit or just have the whole car wrapped in white…I think the whole white on white look would be nice, we’ll just have to wait and see what route he decides to go…

Bert’s brother Noel and his Corolla…you should be pretty familiar with it by now if you follow the site since I took some pics of it with model Sheila not too long ago…

ATS Anh’s Integra. He recently added a custom roll bar that was fabricated by ASC Speed Metal in San Diego, but of course, I didn’t take any pictures of it. Why? Because I just remembered at this exact moment that I should have taken some pics of it…haha…

A classic DA from ATS Garage that I did a story on about 2 years ago…Good to see that it is still in the exact same pristine condition as it was in the early 2000s…

When you mention DAs, you can’t forget Ejay’s Integra. If the above shot of Ejay’s Integra looks familiar to you, it’s probably because I took the exact same pic of it probably an hour before I took this one. I’m pretty sure I posted it up in Part 2 of the coverage. I took another one just because I didn’t want to forget about Ejay like I usually do and this last statement makes the first sentence pretty irrelevant….haha.

Speaking of Ejay, he’s in the background of this pic I took of Chivas’ Civic…

Speaking of backgrounds, here’s an engine bay shot. Related? Not at all. In all seriousness though, I thought this shot was pretty cool because you can see the color shift in Chivas’ chameleon bay…Car looks good, I would suggest him doing a little bit more to the bay like hiding and tucking some more things, like the A/C but I know he lives in Las Vegas and not having A/C over there would be terribly stupid…

Speaking of A/C, okay I’ll stop, haha…here’s another shot of Sheepey’s S2000…

Here’s Ryan Der, yay…

Der bay…

Der interior…

Der Recaros…

Der wing…

Der licious…

Chris Sakai’s EK…

Overhead engine bay shot of his EK…

….Bride seats and Crow harnesses…

…and a shot of his dash…

DPK Henry…

DPK David…

DPK Ryan…

Our buddy Nick Caster’s CR-X on Regamaster Evo Final Versions…

Jason from ATS Garage…

Somebody on the NWP forums requested a shot of DPK Jared’s engine bay so here it is…there’s still a couple things that are going to be added and touched up. The whole bay is going to be resprayed actually so it’s definitely still a work in progress…

S2K heaven…

Fit on Mugen MF8s and a random trophy…

Teddy’s Civic…

Always a big fan of this STI…

Never seen this turbo S2000 before. Pretty wild set-up with the custom v-mounted radiator and all…

The bay…

…and BRM finish Wedsport SA55M…

Enrique…

…and his homie…

Ryan O’s bro’s DB8…

Always enjoy seeing this S2000 on two different set of Volks…

Well that’s another 50 (49) so I’m gonna cut it off here for the day. Thanks for looking and back with more tomorrow…
