Wekfest East 2016 Coverage…Part 5 of 5…

Well, this is it. The final, concluding, portion of the 2016 Wekfest East coverage. I know the posts have been spaced out over two weeks but I’ve just been busy concentrating on producing the content and finding time later to upload all of it. So many events happened in August that it was getting a little difficult to put it all together at one time. I try to do each event separately so that I remember every little thing that went on during each trip so I can explain it to you guys thoroughly, but with all the events happening, man, it can feel like it is all mixed together sometimes. Nonetheless, content is being worked on daily so don’t be worried about having a lack of photos and videos to look at. It’s all coming. The Vlogs usually get uploaded a little sooner than the photos do because it is just easier to put video together and post it up on YouTube. Okay, so at this point in the coverage, the show had wrapped-up already and people were leaving the venue. Since it is usually around the late afternoon/sunset when this happens, it makes for some good exit photos so I grabbed my camera and ran outside to start shooting. You guys saw Tiffanie’s photos from the same time of day in Part 4 but today’s final post consists only of the photos that I shot. We didn’t stay very long since we still had to go to the post-Wekfest dinner with the staff but we did stay long enough to get some pretty cool shots. Enjoy…

Random fact of the day before I go: I learned that there were some people on the East Coast wondering exactly how to correctly pronounce my user name. I guess some people didn’t believe what it was or how it was spelled out and started calling me “Sticky-D-Joe” or “Sticky-Die-Joe” or something to that effect. Somebody actually came up and asked me this too since he thought his friends were saying it incorrectly. It is said exactly how it is spelled out: StickyDilJoe. It was an old AOL IM screenname that just kinda stuck around over the years, that’s why I use it. It’s weird, probably a little dirty, but hey, it’s memorable. Thanks, haha…

I remember taking a photo of Joe and Nawshin’s cars together a couple years ago during my first trips out to the East for Wekfest. At that time, it was Joe’s Subaru WRX STI and Nawshin’s Evo when it was still silver. Crazy to think how much time has passed since then and how their individual car builds have evolved….

That’s a wrap folks, make sure to keep up with all the coverage and YouTube Vlogs. Thanks for the support as always…
