Y’all wanna hear some gossip??? Boy do I got some info for you… Lol. I’m kidding of course but you’ll certainly find some of this interesting if you’re not familiar with what “Club Racer” is and have heard of the “VTEC Club” series before. Most Honda enthusiasts will have heard of the racing series either through friends or through various media online but Club Racer, or Club Racer Events, may be new to many of you. VTEC Club USA was originally an all-Honda time trial series operated within a larger racing event host, Extreme Speed Track Events. The Honda-dedicated racing series worked in unison with Extreme Speed over the years and grew to great success until 2020, when the managing party responsible for VTEC Club USA’s continued growth decided it was time to forge a new path. I don’t want to get into all the little nuanced details of it all but let’s just say that it was a relationship where one partner had outgrown the other and someone wanted to spread their wings, if you know what I mean. I’m just on the outside looking in so it isn’t my story to tell in detail but all you really need to know is that VTEC Club USA is operating on its own and under the umbrella of a new entity known as—you guessed it, Club Racer Events…

RSFuture Track Day at Buttonwillow Photos…
You know how I know I’m getting old? I went outside in the sun at Buttonwillow for about 40 minutes and had a headache for 3 days after! Fuck. There was already a bit of hesitation on my part to even drive out to Buttonwillow for a track day but my friends requested my presence, so who was I to say no?…
The First Chronicles & Coffee Meet of 2020 in Photos…
Well, it finally happened. We had a meet for the first time in 2020 and it was an overwhelming success—extra emphasis on the word “overwhelming”. I knew people had wanted to be out and about for a car gathering but I really had no idea just how bad people were itching to get out. I knew there would be a sudden flood of car meets coming so I thought that would help to satiate the thirst of your average car enthusiast. I was wrong. I guess maybe that speaks to the quality of our meets here because people were really waiting for us to organize something here. A part of me was thinking that we could host a meet here and it would be relatively small because there was still a large population of people still weary and trying to avoid crowds. Perhaps it was naive of me to think that way, but I posted a notice of a meet a week in advance and quickly realized that I should return to our old format of just dropping notice on the fly a day or two before…
