Not gonna lie, it feels great to have regular Vlogs going again now that things are picking up here at home! Over the weekend, I was invited to bring our GR86 out to Formula D Irwindale to participate in Pit+Paddock’s Performance Car Invitational. The weather was looking pretty damp that day but we had no idea a whole storm was brewing! The event itself presented some pretty interesting builds including our friend Hubert Barnum’s Supra and Rodney Moenadi’s KA24 Turbo sedan. The following day, Der got right back to work on his Civic to fit his 16×8 +15 Volk TE37 wheels. Would they fit? Would the jack come down faster than we wanted it to and make the wheels fit? See for yourself!! Oh and Chuy makes a surprise visit to the shop!!

This one is jam-packed with a wide-variety of automotive goodness! First, we finally take my IS300 wagon to the body shop to start on body work and paint, then we head to Period Correct in Costa Mesa for the grand unveiling of two new Turn 14 exclusive builds. The first is Rywire’s Tesla-driven Honda S2000 and the second is a wild S2000 F22C-swapped Mercedes 190E!! We check those cars out and head back to the shop in time to put some work into the DC5 RSX. The day after that, I stop by my boy David’s meet and am reunited with one of the most legendary Integra builds in the Honda tuning community.

GReddy GPP Live 2020 Event Coverage…

There’s no SEMA event this year due to the ongoing “situation” we’re all going through, but I don’t know if I really miss it or not. On one hand, I do enjoy being in Las Vegas. Meeting up with industry friends is always nice and eating/drinking an insane amount throughout the week always makes things interesting. On the flip side, I don’t miss the crowds, the transportation to and from the show is always a bit of a headache, and to put it simply, I kind of enjoy saving money for other stuff. It’s funny because most of us who have been in the industry for some time now always bitch about not wanting to go to SEMA, but then we always end-up going and kinda having a good time. It’s a lot of work but it has its quirks that make life interesting enough where we do look forward to heading back to Vegas annually…
