Shortly after Wekfest LA, I was back on a plane to Japan! I had a couple things I needed to take care of on the other side of the world but one of the reasons I went back was to check out the Rays Fan Meeting over in Okayama. I’ve never been to one of these events so I was interested to see what I would discover. The Rays Fan Meeting is an event hosted by Rays Wheels where they invite cars with their wheels to a huge gathering to celebrate the brand. It’s more of a meet than a car show but they do have awards and vendor cars on display as well. I was excited to see this because I knew I would likely see cars I’ve never come across during my years in Japan. Unlike a car show where you typically see the same cars year-to-year, an event like the Rays Fan Meeting offers variety because the people who go may not have the cleanest cars in the country but they show up because they love Rays and are diehard car enthusiasts. There were definitely some hidden gems that were uncovered in this episode…
