The Battlecraft 10-Year Hyper Art Show in photos & video!!…

Happy New Year everybody! No better way to kick off the new year than to give you guys something to watch. I even updated the intro and everything. It seemed like the right time to just update everything so there are some small changes that I’m sure many of you regulars will notice. In the first episode of Season 11, I take you back to a few weeks ago when we were hosting the Battlecraft 10-year anniversary event. I can’t believe it’s been ten years already. Time really does just fly right by. The episode starts with me giving you guys some current updates, a little history on Battlecraft, and what our event is/was all about! Then it’s time to set-up, figure out where everything goes and hope for the best. We also had a special guest with us since we took Terry’s Integra out of Bowls LA to display at the Battlecraft 10-year. He decided to fly down to experience some Socal car culture and then we send both he and his car back to the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy!

All the little things…

All the little things…

As I get older, I’ve learned to appreciate the more subtle moments. Like moments you’d disregard or just accept as normal when you’re young. Something as simple as just going on a short cruise with your friends in the cars you don’t have much time for anymore. When you’re younger it’s just like an every day thing or an activity you do whenever you see your friends. If you love cars it’s just fun to go cruise around in them, make some noise, talk some shit. There’s no thought of just going in one car cuz it’s more convenient. Convenient isn’t fun…

Everything I’ve done to the $50 S2000 so far…

Becoming an S2000-owner definitely was not on my list of 2024 projections when I started the year but things must happen for a reason because here I am with an AP1 that I acquired for a mere $50. Life is random and interesting that way but you know what? I’ve fully embraced my role now as a caretaker to this former track car. It has some wear and tear but for the most part, it’s still in very great condition and with the S2000 came a ton of parts. The suspension work is quite thorough and the engine is healthy. Nothing much had been done to the exterior other which is perfect for me because I had every intention of changing it up. Mainly because I just can’t leave anything alone but I also wanted to make this AP1 feel more like ‘mine’. About a week after taking ownership of the car, I already began looking for stuff to do to it. It just started to snowball from there. I already had a pretty good idea of how I envisioned it to look in my brain, I just had to have the patience to wait for stuff to show up. As it turns out, I actually have come to really like having this S2000. It’s been so much fun to work on so I decided to dedicate an episode to us changing this $50 S2000 from former track car to a sleek SoCal street-cruiser….

A few quick hits from Wekfest Los Angeles 2024…

A few quick hits from Wekfest Los Angeles 2024…

Damn, it has been a while since I put together one of these posts. For years and years, the long-form event coverage posts were a bit of a staple here on the site. People that enjoyed reading and seeing large batches of photos would come here to see coverage of events I attended. I’d usually get them up about a day or two after the event too so it gave people the sense of actually being there or some semblance of that. It has long been one of my favorite things to do. Writing that is. It comes so naturally to me that it’s never really been a ‘chore’ do put posts together like this…

So why did I stop?…
