Goodie Bag…

Hmm, not much really going on this week besides the HUGE UFC event this Saturday and of course, the NBA Free Agency situation. While I’m pre-occupied with that, here’s a grab bag of random stuff I have for you guys to look at while you take a shit…

As you may have noticed by now, there is a new banner up. The car may not look too familiar to many of you but it’s an FD2 Civic from M&M Honda Racing. The company isn’t really that well known stateside and probably only a select few possess parts from them (Probably S2K owners) but they’re a big aftermarket company that has the majority of the Honda line-up covered. They make stuff for almost every Honda you can think of. M&M has a CL7 Accord Euro R demo car as well as the FD2 Civic above and a Mugen kitted-out DC5. The cars are legit. I’ll link you to the site where you guys can actually check out their videos and all the stuff they have available. Getting the stuff over here is a different story if you’re thinking about purchasing, but there are plenty of outlets nowadays where importers can get you whatever you need…

This is their newest and latest aero kit for the FD2…

Japan seems to have quite the fascination with the Nissan GTR-style front bumpers and it’s apparent in the design of this bumper. They love that black center section for some reason, much like the said GTR and the EVO X. It’s a cool look but I don’t know if it translates to all makes…

The rear has a built-in diffuser that’s a part of the rear bumper and has a center-LED light/foglight. Not sure what it would be used for other than to serve as a rear fog but the design and positioning also resembles another car; the 370Z…

Here’s the link to their site…They have all kinds of shit to look at. For those of you who don’t read Japanese it might be kind of hard to navigate on there but there’s actually just enough english where you kind of get the general idea of what you’re looking at. It helps to look at the link descriptions too, that’s what I usually do. Sometimes if you use like Babelfish or something it translates to something totally weird and makes it even harder to read anything…

M&M Honda

I love FD2 Civics…some day maybe I’ll build an FA5 and do the conversion and all that stuff. Ever since I saw the FEEL’s FD2 I’ve wanted to build one, ahh…some day. Meanwhile I’m trying to build something totally unrelated to all this. Selling of course and getting an FA5 would be the obvious choice but my car is in such great shape and the mileage is so low that I couldn’t go through with putting it up for sale…

Anyways, some of you might have remembered me posting up a picture of this Civic in the past but if you don’t, it’s something that’s totally unlike what guys are doing here stateside…

While I’m not a fan of the black widow sideskirts, wire wheels, and S15 headlight conversion, something about them being altogether on this car….I don’t know…just seems completely awesome. Haha…It’s like a mix of everything you would never want to do to a Civic and yet at the same time, it’s the perfect storm. It actually flows…The color and the contrasts just work. I remember the interior being completely done to and it’s pretty sick. Even if it’s not your style you gotta respect the work that was involved.  Even the side mirrors and gas cap….it’s just crazy enough to work.

Not really sure what’s going on in this picture because my neck hurts from looking at it. I wish I could get some more information on this Civic but it’s from the UK and I don’t have the resources to get ahold of anyone who knows the guy. Would be cool to see under the hood though. I wonder if it’s one of those builds where the outside is all perfect and interior is clean but the engine bay is still the original color and the motor is all beat up and shit…Who knows, maybe the dude has a full on tucked bay with tucked radiator and all that shit. That’d be awesome, haha. Maybe even a K-swap…Either way, whoever owns this car made a fan outta me…Thumbs-up.

On that note, I’m gonna bounce for today. Just want to let you guys know that the “Championship Edition” Chronicles stickers are currently sold out as I have run out of gold chrome vinyl but it is on it’s way. If you guys still want to pick some up, you can still order them and I will cut them as soon as the material comes in. These stickers ended up being pretty popular and the double chrome really pops in the light. Cop them now if you want them, they’re gonna stay limited so I could stop selling them at any time…

  6. The side vents on the M&M Civic is a straight jock on the FIA BMW M3 GT and the GTR Nose. I’m digging the rear diffuser though.
