Things to look at…or go to…

I really shouldn’t have to mention this anymore to you guys, but if you haven’t already picked up the latest issue of Honda Tuning, you probably should stop reading this and go do that. It’s an issue jam-packed with all kinds of different Honda builds. The cover features one of my personal favorites, the Evasive Civic SI rocking a Max Racing kit, as well as two other stories that I wrote; one is an S2000 from the east coast, and the other an Accord from Hawaii. I think one of the most positive changes to the mag since Rodrez took over is the way he plans out and makes sure that there is variety in every issue. People always complain about how HT has always been focused on cars from Socal and that’s definitely a incorrect statement…

This issue alone has cars from all over the country and even has a story on our very good friend Takeshi Kobayashi from Japan. You get an in-depth look at what his business is all about as well as his thoughts on the Honda community out in Japan. If that’s not enough for you, there’s also two very cool stories on an S2000-powered, rear-wheel drive (you read correctly) EM1 Civic and an all-wheel drive 10-second EJ1 Civic coupe. Both are very informative stories and an interesting look at some very different builds…

All in all, it’s a great issue, I wouldn’t lie to you…go pick that shit up and read it on the toilet. That always makes for good times…

As for things happening this weekend, you should head out to the VIP Modular facilities for a Japan Relief event put together by Jimmy and friends from Team Praxis. Even though the news and other media outlets rarely talk about Japan anymore, they are still struggling over there to rebuild and the people of Japan can still use any help that we can provide them. The tsunami and earthquakes that occurred just a couple months ago was one of the most devastating natural disasters in our history and something that we will all remember when we get older. Being that it’ll be a lasting memory, why not do something positive so that you can look back and say that you contributed to the rebuilding of a country, you know what I mean? Every little bit helps so make your way out to this Sunday’s Japan Relief event, make a donation, and spend some time with great people. The Dogzilla truck will be out there as well and that alone is enough to get my ass up and to the event so I don’t know what your excuse will be. I’m gonna go help out a country and eat the shit out of a Dogzilla hot dog, it’s win-win. The flyer below contains all the information on the event so peep that shit. Ignore the fact that Jimmy fucked up my Chronicles logo on the flyer, how it happened I’ll never know and how it got by everybody that was involved with making the flyer is also beyond me but it’s all good, haha…

Oh and there will be a limited run of stickers that were specially-designed for the event. It’s a good look…

I think they are limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis so if you really want one of these, get your ass out there early.

That’s all for today. Buy the mag, support print, and go out to the Japan Relief event this Sunday. Alright, peace.
