Meanwhile…

I had this whole thing prepared today where I was going to do a write-up on what the Year.Three Chronicles Anniversary Meet had to offer but I just never got around to making the time for it. I’m fully entrenched in organizing the meet and cutting stickers and what not that it’s taken up much of my days and nights. The plan was to knock out all of the Chronicles stickers last night but around 10pm yesterday, I got a call from Ryan from Rywire asking me if I wanted to make a special trip out to the Bisimoto facility to check out Bisi’s upcoming 2012 Honda Civic SEMA project. The last time I was there, Bisi was telling me about what he had planned for the car but the actual chassis had yet to return from Steen Chassis. He’s got two projects going on and SEMA is fast approaching, so yesterday was just one of those nights where they would get no sleep just to spend every waking moment completing the car. The Civic, to put it simply, is nowhere near completion and we are what? Like two weeks away from the SEMA event itself? Shit is definitely coming down to the wire and the car actually has to go back to Honda corporate on Monday of next week… things are definitely stressful right now. Bisi and Hedi are always down to give me first dibs on whatever they are working on so they told Ryan to give me a call and I stopped whatever I was doing to drove 40 min out to Ontario, CA. When I got there I will admit, even I was a little surprised by the current state of the Civic. Everything is basically ready to go, it’s just a lot of custom wiring and brake lines and what not that Rywire has to complete before everything goes back on the car. I will post up more photos later one when I have time to go through them, but for now, here are a couple shots as a teaser I guess, on what Bisi and Rywire have been working on…

Crazy to imagine just how different this 2012 Civic is going to look in just two weeks…

Bisi, Supertwinz John from AEM, and Ryan going over some plans for the engine bay….

Stay tuned for more…
