Welcome back to part 2 of our WEKEAST 2012 coverage, provided to us by our guest photographer, Eric Badis. Hope all of you are having a good three-day weekend and staying out of the heat. Today we’re gonna look at the second half of Eric’s photoset and I even have a couple of other guys who have stepped in and provided more photos from WEKEAST. I’m looking forward to going through them throughout the week since there are still some cars that I spotted at the show that I haven’t really seen goo photos of yet. As I said in part 1, I was more than pleased with the caliber of builds at WEKEAST an it is definitely one of the events that I will mark on my calender for next year. I’d love to get out there to see some of these builds in person and seeing as how successful this year’s Wekfest was, it’ll only continue to grow from there. I got some regular life stuff going on over here today, especially since it is a holiday so I’m going to try to get through this photos fairly quickly… Thanks for looking guys…enjoy…

If you missed Part 1 of our WEKEAST 2012 Coverage, click here…

The Evos and Subaru STis had to be some of the most impressive builds at the show. Just the quality of parts and how they all come together makes them some of the best in show…

This Varis widebody Evo X was probably one of my favorites at the show, just from seeing photos anyways. Love the Varis front aero, rear over fenders, color, and wheel selection… about as close to perfect as it gets (exterior-wise)…

Clean Subaru reppin’ JDM Chicago on concave Work Emotion CR-Kais…

This Lexus SC430 on gunmetal Work Meisters was another favorite of mine… SC430s look sort of awkward in stock form but when they’re done up, they usually look pretty crazy…

BMW E60 5-series on Leon Hardiritt Ordens…

SW20 MR-2 on really aggressive Work Equips…

A pair of Kouki S14s, both with Project Mu brakes and Work Meister S1Rs…

Didn’t get any photos of the grey one but loved the white S14…

Under the hood is a GM LSx motor swap…

Exterior is nice and simple…

S2000 on really aggressive copper CCW LM20s…

Cranberry Audi S4 on CCW Classics…

Another S4, this one on CCW LM20s…

Vincent Deluca’s Z32 N/A 300ZX, a car that I had the pleasure of writing up the story for in Super Street magazine…

Jeremy Brittain’s “ATTACK” IS350…

Stance-themed Evo on CCWs… I know a lot of you won’t be a fan of this because it isn’t “functional” but I think it actually looks pretty good…Just in terms of pure style and eliminating any talk of functionality since it’s relative to the owner’s needs….

Simple Subaru STi on gold-faced Work Meister M1Rs…

VW Golf GTI, also on CCW Classics…

Nissan Silvia on Work Meister S1s…

Wild-looking gold Lexus SC430 with tons of custom bodywork and WED’s Kranze Bazreias….

Infiniti G37 sedan looking good on Leon Hardiritt Ordens…

NSX on what looks like WEDSport SA55M wheels…

Really liked this S2000 with BackYard Special front lip and NSX-spec Mugen MF10s…

BMW M3 on black Work Meister S1s…

NSX also on Meisters that you saw previously in our Tuner Evolution coverage….

Another car that you also saw in our 2012 Tuner Evolution coverage was this Evo X on Rotiform wheels…

According to David Do from MayDay Garage, this FD3S makes over 800+ horsepower…

S2000 at the Canibeat booth slammed on SSR Professor SP1…

Thought the grey/light grey colorway on this Evo was pretty cool…

Widebody Porsche 911 on Rotiform wheels…

Kiet Hong’s turbocharged Mugen RSX from EMOTION…

Jeff Ritucci’s FD RX-7 from EMOTION…

Alex Witkin’s Subaru from EMOTION had to be one of the more anticipated builds presented at WEKEAST… Very unique-looking build with the rare Gram Lights aero w/carbon ducts…

His engine bay with the tubbed front wheel wells and complete shave and tuck made the Subaru look almost like a toy… Crazy to see what Subaru enthusiasts are doing to these engine bays these days since they are typically very cluttered and just dressed up with aesthetic components…

Joy Abdalla’s Subaru is another incredibly well-built Subaru that’s made a pretty strong presence this year in the import automotive community…

Lester Bracero’s TSX…

Brett’s Sorcery NSX…

Orange R33 Skyline GTR on bronze Volk TE37s…

Audi wagon flared on Vossen wheels…

Black Varis Evo X with purple Volk TE37s…

A final look at WEKEAST through the eyes of Eric Badis…

That’s a wrap for now on Eric’s set…back with more to come from other enthusiasts’ perspectives throughout the week… stay tuned!
