Sorry for the lack of updates this week. I’ve just been busy catching up on all the orders from the storefront, which have all gone out as of two days ago. Additionally, I and the rest of the guys have been gearing up for a big weekend, as the annual Nisei Showoff event is taking place tomorrow and the following day, I head down to San Diego to attend 5&A Dime’s Motor Union event…

Rywire Ryan, DPK David, and I have all been prepping our cars as we will have our cars on display at Nisei Showoff. Ryan’s car is still pretty clean as it’s been hiding inside the shop but for both David and I, who have spent a lot of our days lately cruising around in our cars, we had to clean our cars inside and out for the show. Competition isn’t that important to us but we try our best to bring out the cleanest examples possible of good builds and hopefully people will appreciate that. Both Ryan and David will be over in the Falken Tire booth with a couple of our other friends while I’ll be over in the vendor area parked with Barramundi Design USA. The weather looks to be pretty nice so make sure to come by and chill. The Nisei Showoff event has a bit of a different feel to it this year as I’ve decided to take a break from doing anything major and Stancenation has stepped up to the plate to inject a completely new vibe into a classic event. How it goes remains to be seen but I’ll be out there all day covering it for you guys…

Sunday’s Motor Union is significant to me because it will be my first Motor Union event ever. I’ve always been interested in going but with having to organize a booth and also helping out Ken Myoshi with Showoff, I haven’t been able to muster enough energy to head down to Motor Union as it always happens to fall on the day following Nisei Showoff. Since I don’t really have anything crazy going on this year, I made the decision to make it down to San Diego for the event. It always looks like a ton of fun so I’m really looking forward to it…
