I always pride myself on being able to cover all the important aspects of my life. Car stuff is great but it is the friends and the people I meet that really make living this life a pleasurable experience. It is the people that have kept me around this hobby so long and I cherish the many friendships that come from doing all of “this”. Part 4 is a special episode for me because it offers you a look into the more personal side of my life. One of my favorite people, (except for that one time in Vegas) Jared Aguila from DPK, decided to make his very supportive girlfriend his wife and was great enough to invite me to witness it. I wouldn’t normally show you stuff like this but it is car-related in that Jared is one of the people who I met through cars and whom I’ve developed a friendship with through the years. Some of the other guys who were really close to Jared were invited as well and we made a great night of it. You get to see our interactions and, if it’s not obvious to you already, get a glimpse of how we are actually friends and not just a bunch of car guys who hang out occasionally. Right after the wedding, I went home and packed up and flew out to Houston, Texas for the annual Wekfest event. Prior to Wekfest Texas taking place, a well-known Texas-based car culture website, Mayday Garage, held a meet to welcome people from all over who were in town that weekend for the event. Things get a little crazy because people in Texas are just interesting like that and you get to see everything as if you were there beside me. Check it out and enjoy.
