We are back in Japan for Vlog #3 to cover everything that went on during our trip for the 2016 Wekfest Japan event. It might have been just a few months since we left Japan but so much has changed already. The Exceed Japan shop is a bit further along in development and Yasu Shimomukai is working feverishly on new project cars for the Wekfest event. This time around, we stayed exclusively in Osaka, which is much like a second home to me, and spend our time with friends and fellow car people. This Vlog series will cover the entire trip and all the extra curricular stuff we did along the way….
The fourth installment of this series covers some of the many great builds that were the heart of Wekfest Japan 2016. Yuta and I walk around the event to talk about these builds and what made them stand out in our eyes. Some of these cars were the most recognized of the entire show while some were more of the “sleeper” hits that really didn’t get that much attention from the casual showgoers but had certain unique details about them that made them stand-out. During the times when Yuta was busy doing other things like judging, Tiffanie and I walk around shooting some photos of the cars and walking the show with one another to film for the Vlog. There are a lot of great cars in this particular video so make sure to watch closely and listen to some of our thoughts, even though at times they may seem comical and random. Enjoy as always…
