August is not only the hottest month of the year for us, but also possibly the busiest. Wekfest San Jose 2016 had just taken place at the end of July, but not two weeks later, I was already off to the East Coast to attend the Wekfest New Jersey event. This time around, Tiffanie Marie and I were the only ones to make the trip with the Wekfest staff. This Vlog series documents our adventures to NY/NJ for Wekfest, the Nitto Tire Auto Enthusiasts Day back in California, and for the first time ever, we head to Atlanta, Georgia to check out the Gridlife event…

Part 1 starts off on a casual weekend here in Southern California when we stop by the GReddy Open House. Sara Choi had asked us to go hang out and since we weren’t doing a whole lot that weekend, we decided to go. After that, Tiffanie and I flew out to New Jersey for the annual Wekfest East event. Upon arrival, we headed straight into New York to attend a private car cruise through the city hosted by popular NY automotive blog site, SNTRL. The guys from SNTRL are kind enough to invite me out every year to check out the cruise and to take in some East Coast car culture. The cruise typically ends in Times Square but we ran into some trouble which ultimately cut the night short. Check it out and get a rare look at what goes on when you mix some great car builds with the craziness of New York City…
