Being on the road so much internationally may have finally caught up with me. Between all the flights and having so much going on at home, I really needed some rest but landing in Japan during Golden Week doesn’t really allow for much of that. Being that it is a national holiday in Japan that spans multiple days, most of the spring-time car events happen during this week. I started out at Mobility Resort Motegi for the Honda/X-Large event and just a day later, Yasu and I were off to Shiga to once again attend one of my favorite car events in Japan; DORIDORE! This is a style-based drift event with no shortage of amazing vehicles. These guys build these incredible cars and just thrash on them whether it’s blazing hot in the torrential downpour, it doesn’t matter. These guys are just always down. It’s crazy that some of these cars just go out there and risk it all and then show up to another car event weeks or months later and look brand new again. You gotta see for yourself. Speaking of seeing, don’t mind my eye in the video. This was actually a while back and I can see just fine again. Enjoy!
