There Is No Rival, Because There Is No Equal.

Welcome back to our continuing coverage of the Slammed Society Japan event, held last weekend at the Fuji International Speedway. This is part 2 of 3 and like the first set of photos, features quite a bit of variety of different vehicles. Koji Karimata did a great job of capturing the event and I’m happy that he was able to get so many different types and styles of automotive builds. As I said yesterday, I’ll try my best to give you guys accurate descriptions of the builds pictured. Anytime you see coverage from events in Japan, you’re bound to run into some cars that weren’t made available in the U.S. market but I think I have a pretty good idea of what they are from following the Japanese automotive community for so many years. In any case, check out the photos below and if you spot any errors, don’t be afraid to correct me…

If you missed Part 1, click the link below to catch up…

Slammed Society Japan 2012 Coverage…Part 1…

Thanks to Karimata-san for the photos as all were shot by him and then processed by me after they came into my possession. Enjoy…

8060911075_a90c6801f7_o-Edit

I used to really want to own a Soarer/SC400 but what always bothered me about the design of the car was how the front fender has that taper where it meets the front bumper. Looks a little odd as if it had been pulled out or something…

8060917534_c85de58b36_o-Edit

Another one of my favorite cars from Slammed Society Japan is this R32 Skyline GTR on rarely used Blitz BRW 08 wheels…Love the paint color and contrasting linear graphics. The “Shoot The Bullet” graphic is a nice touch as well…

JZX90 Toyota Mark II from LOW BRAIN on Work Equips. I love how some Japanese car clubs still rock cars that are all the same color, haha. A lot of VIP car clubs do that too and it really gives them that uniform look…

Closing out part 2 of our coverage with another favorite of mine, Takuya’s boosted C34 Nissan Laurel, also from LOW BRAIN…Wish I had more photos of it but it has an RB25DET NEO motor, BLADE coilovers, and all kinds of suspension arms and components from 326power. Love their slogan “RUB THE EARTH”, haha…

That’s all for today…thanks for looking! Back with Part 3 tomorrow….
