So as you all know, the Prelude is now at the bodyshop and unlike most shops, they’re actually working on the car the first week it is there. You know how it goes, normally when you drop a car off for paint, it just sits outside with the windows down for a week until you go back to realize that they haven’t touched your car. Then you go and bitch at them and they finally work on it another week later. Typical bodyshop etiquette but this shop is different. The moment they got the car, they began work on it…
Apparently, there was a huge dent on the door that I didn’t even notice when I used to see the car all the time…
The OE trunk getting worked on. Looked pretty good compared to how it was before…
Fender getting some love…
Here’s the stuff that they’re using to shave the bay and what not. Basic tools of the trade you know, not regular bondo of course…
Hole for where the mil-spec plug will go…
Bay getting some heavy work…
This dusty mess will be ready for paint in no time…Stay tuned…
awesome, this thing should be ready for nisei in no time.
Isn’t this part 9 already? =P
But damn nice build, cant wait to see it finished!!
=P
This is one of the fastest rebuilds I ever scene!
Any clues on what color Big Mike is going with???
No clue!
Im assuming no updates until the car is out of paint 🙁
fast builds like this require more money spent in less time. baller! on top of chedder, it’s nothing w/o resources and mike has resources you wouldn’t believe.
I’m checkin this 5 times a day, I’m really itching to see the color. It looks like he’s going for a cleaner look and that’s a good thing, I think there’s enough carbon fiber/fiberglass preludes out there. let see a clean one
I love the $1.99 brite touch primer on the table. I have like 30 cans of that stuff haha.
