Read this shit…

Tada!…back with another new issue of Super Street magazine. This month you should be picking it up if you’re a Nissan head or a big fan of all cars in general because there are some pretty good stories lined up for this August issue. I just finished taking a look at it myself and I’m pretty happy with it. I only did one story for the mag this month but it’s a good one. I first spotted this S14 at the Need for Speed: Shift launch event at the Source Interlink offices. I didn’t get a chance to talk to the owner(s) at the time but when Jonathan Wong hit me up to go do a story on the car, I was more than happy to go shoot it. What made the whole thing so easy was that they’re local to my area so meeting up wasn’t an issue at all, like many cases in our industry. It was so convenient, that Big Mike decided to look himself in DPK David’s backyard for 45 minutes the morning he was supposed to go with me to the shoot, which made for some interesting conversations when we arrived at the shoot. In any case, I’m very happy with the photos this month and the story is quite an interesting one. You guys know how I get down with the storytelling so expect epic greatness, haha. It’s a very nice, simple build with a lot of elements that you wouldn’t normally expect from 240SX owners. The couple who owns it are very nice people as well and today we can still say what’s up to eachother without that random awkward gap during conversations where you want to leave but can’t because you want to be nice, haha…you guys know what I mean. They’re cool peeps and I talk to them all the time whenever I see them at events and it was a pleasure having the opportunity to immortalize their build in print. Congrats to them and be sure to pick up the issue….

To commemorate this event and since it’s a July 4th weekend, here is a widescreen desktop-sized version of one of the images that didn’t make it into the issue. Enjoy, and thanks for looking! Check out this months editorial from JDM Wong himself for his thoughts on the whole “SUPPORT PRINT” movement as well as an introduction of one of the newest Super Street staff members…

Read this shit. That is all.

Oh this time around, I went with like a very natural “earth tone” sort of feel being that the car is an olive-like tone and the wheels and all that shit with trees in the background, okay bye….
