Today is going to be a little different than Part 1 in that we will be taking a look at an event that happened prior to the Import Alliance Spring Meet. While Anderson Rajavong took us directly into the IA coverage, our photographer for today and tomorrow, Dipesh “Super-Dipz” Gohil, takes us on an extended journey that starts at the SOUTHRNFRESH “Welcome to Atlanta” meet. The meet is an annual event that they put on the day before the Spring Import Alliance meet. It serves as a primer to the IA meet and helps to bring enthusiasts together for a good time before the big day that follows. The photos you’re looking at today actually consists of only photos from the SOUTHRNFRESH meet. Dipesh took a ton of photos that day and I’ve already consolidated them so that the pre-meet photos only take up one part of the series. I have yet to go through the rest of his IA photos but I’m gonna to try to keep it condensed to only the photos that I would normally post up on here had I taken the photos myself…
So today and tomorrow will feature the work of Dipesh Gohil and I have some more photos from one more individual who was kind enough to lend a helping hand. I don’t want the photos to get overly repetitive so I will leave out a lot of content that consists of cars you’ve seen already. I like the idea of having varying perspectives but there is a possibility that things can get a little overwhelming, especially if you are looking at the same stuff repeatedly. In any case, enjoy the photos today. After we get through the IA Spring Meet photos, I will be jumping right into the epic USDM Jam Ver. 10 photos from Japan. I’m pretty excited about those photos and I hope you are too. Okay, enough rambling, lets get going…
If you missed Part 1 of the Import Alliance Spring Meet Coverage from last week, I’ve included a link below. I’m going to switch things up a bit and leave the front page of the site limited to only one post to help with load times. If at any time you want to see more content, you can just click on the “more posts” button or search for whatever you want. You guys are smart, I’m sure you can figure it out…
Import Alliance Spring Meet 2013 Coverage…From Varying Perspectives…Part 1…
Part 2 photos are shot by Dipesh Gohil with some light post processing by me…
Everybody get together and watch a C-West front bumper install…
Face-lift completed…
Anytime I see a C-West front bumper on an Integra, I automatically think that the car needs 17-inch wheels and up. The bumper is just so big that it makes the wheels look really small. I dig these custom Stark wheels though. You rarely see them done in black without the ugly purple stickers and lettering…
Grey Civic coupe that you probably remember seeing in Anderson Rajavong’s IA Spring coverage…
S13 drift build from Risky Devil on Work Equip wheels. Not sure why the dash has a Honda Factory Performance sticker on it but whatever, haha…I’m sure there is an inside joke somewhere that I am missing…
FC3S convertible on Volk TE37V…
BYS-equipped DC5 RSX on white Volk CE28s…
A set-up you’re likely to see nationwide; Subaru STi on Enkei NT03…
A set-up you’re unlikely to see nationwide; a Z32 coupe on Work Meister S1Rs…
Uhhh….yeaaah…moving right along…
Bagged old school Mercedes on classic gold BBS wheels…
Very aggressive-looking MX-5 Miata with a huge rear wing, front/rear flares, and Work Meister S1 wheels…
Black DC2 Integra Type R with a rare FEEL’s Twin Cam rear spoiler and Work RSZ-R…
Rami Qasem’s ASM-inspired S2000 build…
Another NA chassis MX-5 Miata, this one married to the Earth on Work Equip 03s…
Danyelle Hash’s new-look J’s Racing themed Honda Fit…
Clean Spa Yellow S2000 on Work Emotion wheels…
Infiniti G37 coupe on Work S1 as well…
Can’t help but think that this S2000 would be more appropriately matched if it had a monoblock forged wheel instead of a 3-piece Work VS wheel…
IS300 with Extreme Dimensions EG-R Duraflex aero kit…
J’s Racing aero on this Honda CR-Z and custom teal Advan Racing RG2…
Dylan Outlaw’s K20 ITR looking great on Rays Gram Lights 57ProS wheels…
E24 BMW coupe looking ruggedly-handsome on step-lipped Work Equips…
R32 Skyline GT-R coupes are always nice…
One of my favorite IS builds ever on a new custom-fitted Lexus GS F-Sport front bumper…
Clean S2000 on CCW wheels…
EK4 SiR-inspired Civic on CCW LM5s…
FG2 Civic Si coupe sitting on original Super Advan wheels…
Clean white-on-white EF sedan…
Meaty wheel/tire combo on this AP2 S2000…
Rat-style VW bugs in the woods…
Armanda Zukic’s Matte Purple-wrapped Honda CR-Z on Work Meister S1…
Matt Tucker’s K20 turbo EK9 really needs no introduction…
More of the black ITR from earlier with the FEEL’s wing…
One more of the Z32 300ZX on S1Rs…
Absolutely love this S30Z on Work CR01s…
Silver EK hatchback with some Spoon Sports goodies, Volk CEs, and ARC Induction Box…
Drag-prepped turbo B-series Civic…
Nissan S15 Silvia direct from Japan. These have always been one of my favorites and it’s a shame that we never really got to see their potential maximized here in the states…
K-turbo CR-X looking really good on Volk TE37Vs. I wish Dipesh had gotten more shots of this car because it’s one of the better Honda builds from that weekend…
Closing out Part 2 for now with this shot of KJ Drapeau’s ASM S2000 on rarely-used Prodrive wheels…
Thanks for looking, much more tomorrow…
