Happy Monday evening all… got some more great stuff from Kday Chapter 4 for you guys to check out. It’s always good to have a steady stream of content coming in. The year usually starts off kinda slow but around this time, there are plenty of events to cover and photos to post. I’m busy organizing YearSIX so I’ll keep it short for today. I also told myself I’d do some more stuff around the shop since we’re gonna have some visitors very soon coming from all over for my event as well as SEMA in Las Vegas. Good thing I got Shota Mori taking care of content while I’m busy with other things. Enjoy!!…

Kday Chapter 4 Japan Coverage, A Different Perspective…Part 1…
There was also a couple of other posts about Kday C4 from another great contributor, Koji Karimata. There’s more text there to tell you more about the Kday series for you guys who are new to the site. Check it…
Kday! Chapter 4 2014 Coverage…Part 1….
Kday! Chapter 4 2014 Coverage…Part 2….
Below is the next batch of photos from Mori…
The number of DA Integras at Kday C4 didn’t compare to the sheer number of EF/EE Civics in attendance but definitely were represented well…
There’s something very peculiar and awesome about this particular Akebono banner that says “The Power of Dream Homies” on it…
Shota Mori’s CA Accord with a pair of old school Volk Racing Artisan Fins on one side….e
I’ve always been a big fan of the JDM EF2 front ends with the one-piece headlights and grille. I still remember the first time I ever got to see one in person. It was on Chad’s old EF from Team Ziggy at the Import Revolution car show back in like, 2004 or so….maybe even before that…
Hideo Shingu looking to buy some merchandise from one of the many vendors in attendance at Kday C4….
Touma Kaga and Tomohiro Chujo from Lowered2Perfection….
This was a pretty cool sight to see the DJ at Kday C4 rocking a KDAY 93.5 FM t-shirt. For those not from Socal, 93.5 KDAY is actually a radio station out here that plays old hip hop. Perfect that Takeshi’s event is called Kday and the DJ who is supplying the music that day is wearing a shirt bearing the same name while also being relevant to both the event and USDM culture….
A trio of slammed EF Civics in various platforms….
Just the Akebono contingency alone brought out basically all of the EFs at Kday….
Tonpe Nakamaru’s EF sedan on Work Ewing Mesh….
Wataru Sasaki’s EF on Work Venette Mesh…
The text on the center cap reads “The Wheel Rich In Contents”….whatever that means, haha….
This incredibly clean CR-X took home the Akebono award…
Great capture of two fellow Akebono USDM enthusiasts of different generations….
Mokkun’s EF hatchback…
As mentioned, there most certainly was not a shortage of EFs at Kday C4….
Mokkun’s build is probably one of the most recognizable Civic builds from that region of Japan….
Ryousuke Takahashi’s SiR….
Clean USDM-styled S14 Silvia on Advan Model 5 wheels…
Satoshi Aizawa’s two-toned CR-X on Mugen MR5 wheels. Aizawa also owns the complete Mugen CR-X Pro.2 build from Akebono….
The Civic hatch with Chargespeed aero that you’ve seen a couple times already in the previous posts…
EJ1 Civic coupe slammed on SSR Super Fins…
Takuya’s EG hatchback on custom blue Sprint Hart CP-F….
DA6 Integra on Volk Racing SE37K….
Coupe re-imagined to resemble a modded EM1 Civic SI coupe with BYS front bumper and 15-inch Regamaster EVOs….
Great to see support from enthusiasts on the other side of the world….
EF Civic sedan with 5 gold-faced BBS RS wheels…
Task Ogihara’s EF with Shuttle front bumper and white GAB Sport wheels…
Nice shot of a modded Honda Grom…
Eunos Roadster from Part 1 set-up at Kday C4 with the hood removed to show-off the customized engine bay…
Ryuzi Honma’s BackYard Special-equpped EG6 SiR Civic…
Monster brakes up front on this Honda Legend sedan…
Kouki and Zenki S14 Silvias…..
This Toyota FJ Cruiser is probably the only car in this entire post that was produced after 2000….
Other than this Suzuka Blue Mugen S2000 that Yosiyuki Hatano is looking at above…
In terms of it being a “USDM-styled” S2000, this build is on point. It has a full list of Mugen goodies and sits on a set of custom-built 18-inch Mugen M7 wheels. If you didn’t know any better, you’d probably think that this AP2 was from North America….
Here you can get a better look at the multi-step M7 wheels….
Hatano aka Type_H, and a couple of other fellow Japanese car enthusiasts….
Always a fan of Nakamura’s Legend on NSX-spec Regamaster EVOs….
CB Accord wagon looking pretty good on Work VS-XX wheels….
Hashiba and crew made the trek out for Kday C4…
Oka’s FC RX-7 on Rotiform wheels…
One of the more peculiar looks that day was Hashiba’s restored Jeep Wrangler “Gambler” wheels on his Cressida-converted Mark II….
I also wondered about the plethora of builds on OEM wheels that day. Guys like Teru Ito who typically have very nice aftermarket wheels decided to cruise out to Kday C4 on stocks. I guess they really wanted to switch things up and went with something completely different than the norm…
Teru reppin’ both The Chronicles and the Kday C4 license plate placard….
Takeshi Kobayashi getting some photos of the Kday C4 awards before he hands them out to the winners. His PY ITR is pictured….
The man behind Kday, getting ready to speak to everyone and present the awards….
He kept things simple this year by doing award plaques instead of the typical plastic trophies that you’re more accustomed to seeing at events….
Still got a lot of great photos coming but I’ll stop it here for today. Thanks for looking everyone. More to come in the next installment!…
