The Pink Hunter EF9 Civic By PROTO-TYPE…

Here’s a quick video featurette on Sachio Yamamoto’s “Pink Hunter” EF9 Civic, built by Rhythm Motors. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Rhythm Motors is also the same shop that built the Banzai Attack EF9 Civic. This particular EF9 is styled very much like a classic Osaka Kanjo Civic build but with a bit more of a modern touch. The video piece below is produced by Masakazu Oka of PROTO-TYPE, based in the Hyogo Prefecture of Japan. Oka, who owns this DB8 Integra, has been a regular here on the site in previous years and I actually had a chance to meet him this year in Hawaii during the recent Wekfest event. I was caught off guard because I didn’t expect to see him there, but it was a pleasure to meet him and he even passed along two PROTO-TYPE decals to me as a gift. I’ve always been a huge fan of the PROTO-TYPE builds and anything that comes from Rhythm Motors so I’m always on the look-out to see what they are working on. You’ll see a lot of skating references in the video piece because the guys from PROTO-TYPE are both Honda guys and die-hard skaters. Enjoy the video below and introduce yourselves to “The Pink Hunter”….
