The Chronicles Vlog #13 is a look into our lives in the month of August 2015. This will be a multi-part mini-series that takes you from some of my everyday activities to my adventure to the East Coast where I participate in the Wekfest East event in New Jersey. This time around, I have brought along one of my best friends, David Andrade, who was also flown out to Jersey to help out at the Wekfest event. Follow us as I take you from California to New York and everything in-between…

Part 1 provides a more personal look into what went on in August. A few of us attended the Orange County Fair to grab some food and participate in some fun activities on a warm summer evening. It was also Der’s birthday month and being that he is such a big part of this entire Vlog series, I wanted to make sure to document it. Der’s always been one of the more quiet guys in my circle but I appreciate everything he does for me to keep The Chronicles going. He’s not one to ever want the spotlight but the guy deserves it for all the work he puts in. A few days after that, I packed up my things and headed to the airport with David to fly out to New Jersey. Wekfest was happening that weekend so the staff flew us out a few days before to prepare for the mayhem. That night we arrived, SNTRL (another popular automotive media outlet) put on their annual New York City cruise/pre-meet and we weren’t going to miss it. Seeing the cars drive through Times Square is always a sight to behold. It wasn’t easy getting around all the people and traffic that always exist in that area but we met some friends along the way who took us to another meeting spot where we could check out the cars.
