Part 2 is a direct follow-up from our Saturday at Formula D “Final Fight” 2015. After FD ended, we got right back to work and Yuta managed to squeeze in a couple hours to install his transmission into his Civic. FF Battle 7 was in two days time so there was a sense of urgency in getting the car running for the competition. On Sunday, we headed over to another part of Orange County to meet up with some friends. We had been invited to go hang out at Brandon’s so that we could watch and assist in installing his B18C engine into his AT Civic. There was apparently supposed to be a BBQ too but we all sort of just ended up hanging out and not getting anything done to the car. While there, we also got to check out Brandon’s latest purchase, which was a 1966 Volvo Amazon originally from Arizona. We spent a couple hours there talking cars and then left to go meet up with our buddy Kristian who works at SP Engineering. Yuta needed his Continental tires mounted for the FF Battle competition and Kristian had some free time. This Vlog picks up at the start of Super Street’s FF Battle 7, which took place at Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, CA. Part 3 will cover the event from our perspective as we challenge the field of worthy competitors for the crown at FFB7.
