Okay, so by this point in the show, I was pretty busy running around back and forth trying to find every Honda and Acura in the building so I could go through the judging process. I really wanted to shoot some more but since most of the car owners were already knee-deep in getting their cars clean for the start of the show, it wasn’t easy to maneuver around them to get a clean shot. The driver’s meeting was set to begin in a few minutes too and that is when Junior gets everyone together at the Wekfest booth to explain how the entire judging process works and what the judges look for. Most participants know the routine already but there were also a lot of newcomers who were showing for the first time and it is important to explain things to them so they get what is going on. After the driver’s meeting, the judges all meet inside a room too to discuss what cars they noticed coming into the building and whether or not there were cars that stood out already in the morning. We all then go over each class and who judges what so there is no overlap…
Since I wasn’t able to shoot for this block of time, Tiffanie did most of the photo work. Actually, in this post, you’re only going to be seeing her photos. I decided it would be best if she shot the photos while I judged so we could save some time and knock out as much of the show as possible. She’s been getting the hang of shooting events with me and I’m excited to have her help me in situations like this when I am unable to multi-task. I didn’t pick up the camera again until the show ended and I’ll close out this series with the rest of our photos in Part 5. Today, we get to see the 2016 Wekfest East event through the eyes of Tiffanie Marie. Enjoy…

Peculiar set-up with this TSX which had a red rope set-up around it to give it that “VIP” treatment…
What I noticed the most about the East is that the TSX/TL-body Acuras are incredibly popular. I would say about half the Honda/Acura Class of the entire event were one of the two. Most were “VIP-styled” in one way or another and some more more on the “stance” side of styling…
Super clean black Civic hatchback with a traditional B-series set-up rocking silver Mugen RnR wheels…
Nice to see a mint Mugen SS front lip out on the East side of the country. Not too many of these floating around these days…

One of the cleanest builds in the entire building was this EF9-styled Civic hatchback on Mugen RnR wheels. Everything inside and out has been converted to JDM EF9 SiR specifications except for the steering wheel still remaining on the left-side. Cool that it even has a “Antique Vehicle” license plate from Pennsylvania…
DC5 RSX Type-S running a combination of a BackYard Special front bumper, INGS+1 front fenders, and INGS+1 rear over fenders…
I had the pleasure of meeting this model builder named Grant who wanted me to sign one of his Civic coupe models that he recently finished. I used to put models together when I was younger too but this guy takes them to another level with all the detail he puts into them. Pretty crazy stuff…

This Acura Integra looked like it was taken out of a time capsule from about 10-15 years ago, turbocharged LS-motor and all. The JDP front lip has to be one of the best-looking lips for this chassis and JDP even produced a rare Hiro-style rear spoiler in carbon fiber…
Automotive importer Japanese Classics always brings out a nice collection of JDM vehicles to Wekfest East. Here you see a stock R32 Skyline GT-R and a cleanly-modded PS13 Silvia…
I can’t say there are too many Nissan Cedric/Glorias stateside…
This Z32 Fairlady Z was pretty awesome to see. Another car that looks like it was locked away in a time capsule somewhere in Japan and released in 2016…

Still one more part to come before it’s all said and done. Make sure to check back for more! Thanks for looking…
Yes sir that is a Bomex rear wing on that Z32. It’s got a full Bomex Type 1 kit on it (minus the hood). Thank you for capturing an image of it, the Z32 never gets the love it deserves in the automotive world, and it sadly never will probably. With that said, great shots and story as always.
Very constructive
thanks for the love -MPBUILT
