The Chronicles Vlog Series (Season 6 Episode 17)

I haven’t figured out what to call this series of videos yet, some have suggested some interesting names, but I’m just glad everyone seems to be enjoying them! This week, we head over to Zero Auto Factory where Yuta is doing an install on our friend Steve Nakamura’s Lexus IS200T, and then Rodney Moenadi, another good friend of our’s, cruises by the shop to show us his 1JZ-GTE powered Toyota Cressida drift car!

JZX100 Mark II front face conversion on the Cressida with custom fenders to match the original bodyline…

The interior no longer has the factory plush Toyota front seats which have been replaced by Bride seats and Takata harnesses….

The tried-and-true APEX’i Power FC helps the 1JZ-swap run smooth…

The JZX100 Mark II face is a huge improvement over the bulky original USDM Cressida face…

Late-model Cressida taillights which were only available for the final two production years of the MX83 here in the US…

This car has seen many different color variations but the dark purple is probably my personal favorite…

Bella the dog was happy to run around the complex while we were shooting…

Becky showed-up just to hang out with Bella while we were doing car stuff…

Becky seemed to enjoy her time with the dog. I think Bella probably felt the same way…

Later in the evening while we were still talking, Bella decided to guard my Q45 from absolutely no one…
