Norm Reeves 2010 Car Show and Toy Drive Coverage…Part 3…

Back with the final part in the Norm Reeves 2010 coverage series. Just some more car stuff and random happenings…enjoy…

Another look at The Chronicles line-up…

S2000 row and the rest of the show in the distance…

I really liked this Kraftwerks supercharged Fit. It had a lot of nice little details about it like the air duct on the cowl. The new 949 wheels look good on there too…

It’s cool that people still keep the “2YRS” sticker on their cars from my 2-year anniversary meet. I don’t know if he kept it on there out of sheer laziness or he thought it was cool but I appreciate it, haha…

Not sure how I feel about the black accents on the front bumper but it’s definitely unique…

A couple more shots of this S2000 since people keep asking me for more pics…

NSX-R replica parked next to a Civic with some CP-R replicas…

Two Spoon S2000s with similar bays…

S2000 with Advan RCII that I posted another pic of earlier…

Honda Tuning magazine C-West CR-Z…

Big Mike of course…

…and a couple other Preludes…

DeviousCTR I believe…

8th generation Accord on some aggressive Varsteon TE37 knock-offs…

Nice stance on this 4-door Accord…

This hatchback was nice and simple…

Some of the Cali Love/Junkies crew guys…

DPK Jared’s S2000…

Big Mike’s valve cover…

Rywire CR-X from the rear…

Bisi telling Ryan a heart-warming story that soothed his soul…

I stopped taking pics here because I had to start tearing the booth down. Awards happened of course and some of the guys parked with me didn’t win because I guess they were considered “booth” cars. Tony still won Best NSX though and Big Mike ended up with the Best Prelude award and overall Best of Show which was really cool. After we packed up, it was time to go grub as we usually do…

Some of the guys had to go home and do other stuff but most of us cruised down to Torrance to eat at one of the King’s Hawaiian spots…

I got the Loco Moco…which was alright,…

…May got the Chicken Katsu Curry which she didn’t finish…

…not sure what Ryan got, I think it was Chicken Teriyaki or some shit… and I stopped taking pics cuz everyone else’s food took awhile to get there…

We ate and then chilled for a little bit and then Tes wanted to go get something sweet so we found some other spots to head out to. We stopped by the Torrance Bakery but nobody really got anything. I noticed on the way to the bakery that there was an old school Foster’s Freeze so we rolled up over there to grab something cool since it was pretty hot that day…

The spot was kinda secluded on a street that doesn’t look like it gets a lot of traffic…

It was pretty old looking but the menu was current just like any other Foster’s Freeze…

May bought me a chocolate chip milkshake and I walked across the street since the sun was beating down pretty hard in front of the Foster’s Freeze…

Here you can see how empty it was over there. Almost looked like a ghost town with the exception of a couple cars parked outside…

Not really sure what Tes got but she usually stands like this while she eats…

Big Mike was curious and wanted to know how roomy it was inside the CR-Z so he hoped in and sat down on the ARK/Sparco seats…

After we finished our treats, we stood around and talked for a little bit more before we headed back to David’s house to get Big Mike’s car. Rodrez and Tes took off but we ended up staying at David’s for most of the night just talking about random things and what are plans are for 2011. It was a pretty productive talk and I’m looking forward to what the new year will bring.

That’s a wrap on the 2010 Norm Reeves Car Show/Toy Drive coverage. Hoped you guys enjoyed it. I’m out for now. More debauchery this weekend at the L*Con/Flagship Status grand opening event….
