Exclusive Content…Ryan Der and Chris Sakai from Wekfest LA Weekend…

Damn, it’s almost perfect timing to post this up today because it coincides with the debut of the ATS Garage Facebook page… If you’re a Facebook head, go ahead and add them so you can check out more pics of the members in their crew as well as pics from the past that date back to the very early days of ATS. Anyways, I’ve been sitting on these pics for awhile now because I’ve just been having so much fun going through them. The set only contains exterior shots because we didn’t have much time that weekend but these cars have had enough exposure by now where you guys should all be very familiar with how the interior and engine bays look. Ryan Der of course, graced the cover with fellow ATS member Anh Truong in last year’s annual Super Street Honda Issue and Chris Sakai was on the cover of Honda Tuning magazine not too long ago. I met Ryan first when I did the story for his EK but I really got to know him better during last year’s Super Street FF Battle. Big Mike and I were hanging out during the dyno sessions and Ryan was there posted up by himself so we invited him to go eat with us. The rest as they say, is history and we’ve been chillin’ ever since. He even makes random trips down here to Socal sometimes just to BBQ with us or whatever. I met Chris Sakai awhile back, probably at one of the Norcal Wekfest events but it wasn’t until I went on a trip to Norcal with Rodrez that we actually started talking more. Rodrez was shooting Chris’ Civic for the Honda Tuning cover spread and I actually made another trip up there the very next weekend with DPK David just to hang out. Both very cool guys, both unique in their own ways, but both with equally amazing Honda builds. It probably sounds a little biased now because I know them and their cars so well but truthfully, these two Civics probably have to be one of the best EK-themed builds of all time. People can say it’s “cocky” or whatever they want to say but the cars speak for themselves.

During the Wekfest LA weekend a couple weeks back, we were all hanging out at the Rywire facilities and had some extra time so I decided to get some shots of their cars. They had both added some new things since last year so it was the right time to get some new pics of the two cars. I don’t want to talk your head off so here are the pics below… As usual, click on the links below for larger versions and towards the end I’ve included some 1080P sized wallpapers for you guys. Enjoy and thanks for looking. Some of the wallpaper shots are a little different from my usual stuff but I wanted to experiment with a much darker, more artsy “look” I guess you can say. If you don’t like them, oh well, just don’t click on them, haha….
