Oh man, so much fucking randomness going on at this event, haha. Luckily Tony from It’s JDM Yo!!! had a booth at this event, otherwise I wouldn’t have even gone to it. Here are some shots from roll-in last night. My coverage of this show will be mostly from the set-up phase of the show because, as you know, HIN is all about being in a pitch black so it’ll be hard to see any cars later. The good thing about going on roll-in night is that I actually got to see some of the better cars there. I feel like the best cars at HIN will be overlooked merely based on the fact that they are shoved in the corner somewhere where there will be absolutely no lighting. Maybe they will prove me wrong, but in year’s past, that’s how it’s always gone down. It’s interesting that it’s called “Hot Import Nights” and now the majority of the cars there aren’t even imports anymore. There are some very VERY questionable cars there and I’m happy to have been able to get those on camera to show you guys. If you’re heading out there today, cool…if you aren’t going?…Eh, you’re not really missing out on much, haha. Here’s some quick shots before I head back out there today…

HIN features a number of really nice builds like this S2000, but it’s unfortunately scattered with really awful cars. I don’t even know where the fuck these cars come from actually, haha. Some of the stuff that was there just blew my fucking mind. There was even a truck that looked like it was mid-explosion with parts folding up and sticking out in all different directions. Almost like that yellow government cheese truck from SEMA but fancier with sofa cushions and diamonds and shit…

I really liked this BMW wagon from VIP Modular wheels…

Yuta from Heartbreaker had his Z at HIN, with the appropriately named “Hot Junkyard Nights” sticker…That’s Cody with the white Miata from Super Street holding the sticker up…

HIN brought out all kinds of vehicles…even the short bus came out…

…but the moment I saw this car below, it was clear to me who the winner of “Best of Show” would go to at Hot Import Nights 2011…

…this Chrysler 300C with the “C” meaning CAMARO FRONT END….POW POW POW…which was “DUB”bed “DIAAAAAABLOOOOO”….

Xzibit could be hear saying “Yo dawg, we heard you like Camaros so we put a Camaro in your 300 so you can mistaken identity while you drive….”
