JDMYard 10th Anniversary Honda Showoff Coverage…Part 2 of 2…

_DSC2020

Welcome back to part 2 of our JDMYard 10th Anniversary coverage. If you missed part 1 yesterday, I’ve attached a link below so you guys can catch up. Umm, not really much left to say about the event that wasn’t said yesterday already. Congrats to Yonas and crew for working their asses off to build a successful business over the last decade and it’s really good to see that Australia has a thriving Honda enthusiasts community. It was never in the plans but who knows, maybe some day I’ll make it down under to see some of these cars for myself. You never know. I’m always down to travel, haha… Thanks for looking guys and enjoy the photos. Like I said before, I wasn’t there so I can’t give you as detailed a description as I would like but I’ll try my best…

Here’s Part 1…

A local shop down in Australia, Built To Order, brought a couple of their vehicles out for display…

K-swapped with everything coated in black minus the pink accents… Note the shaved bay and booster delete…

_DSC2117

The dash of the EG has been re-upholstered in black suede with Bride gradation fabric…

It has a Bride Gias Low Max bucket with an ITR Recaro SRD serving as the passenger seat…cage of course, is done in pink…

This teal EK reminded me a lot of DSR Loreto’s “Sharkie” EK, but much higher in ride height…

I can honestly say that in 2012, I’ve probably only seen one set of Enkei J-Speed IIIs… In this coverage alone, I think I already spotted three sets. Pretty interesting for a wheel that was never considered a “popular” wheel here in the states…

K-swapped as well. Cool to see all these K20/K24 conversions in all these Aussie Hondas. In Japan, it’s still not a very popular route to go since many of the Japanese enthusiasts still enjoy the balance of the B-series motor…

I don’t know if the crowd was really EK-dominated or if Aleks Brajic was just a big fan of EKs, haha….

Here’s the EK4 that you saw yesterday that won the “Best Stance” award…

Not entirely sure what was going on here…Australian Pikachu is humping the leg of the Australian Red Power Ranger… Random fact but if you remember watching the American Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV show when you were a kid, the guy that played the Red Ranger ended up doing gay porn and the Asian actress that played the Yellow Ranger (Not racist at all… Sarcasm) died in a car accident… that and the actress that played the Pink Ranger later got naked in some movie nobody watched…. So they did pretty well for themselves after the show ended…*shrug*…

_DSC2339

Yonas Liu and friends reppin’ JDMYard… Congrats to these guys…

Closing it out with one final shot of the JDMYard EG…

Thanks for looking everyone, that’s a wrap on the JDMYard 10th Anniversary coverage…
