Happy Thursday everyone. Welcome to the final and concluding section of the StanceNation G Edition coverage. There won’t be anything done differently than in the previous two posts. It’ll consist of the rest of the photos that I plucked out personally from Koji Karimata’s 1500+ photos from the event. These are the cars that stood out to me the most and the ones that I think you will find the most interesting. He did a great job of capturing the cars and I’m about that he was so thorough with his coverage…
If you want to go back and take a look at the previous two parts, here are the links provided below:

Kouji Matuzaka’s AP2 S2000 from LEVEL ONE Japan on Volk Racing TE37SL…
Another LEVEL ONE representative, Hiroki Matsuo, owns this AP2 S2K that features an ASM front bumper and aggressive Work Emotion XD9s. Notice the Work Meister S1 sitting inside the cockpit…
Shun Saito’s Kouki S14 looks great in this color on Volk TE37V…
I absolutely love this D21 Hardbody on 17-inch Barramundi Design Raycod wheels. This is probably my favorite truck of all-time other than the SR20DET-swapped Toyota drift build that’s all over the web. I was happy to see this on display at the G Edition meet because it finally gave me a look at how the engine bay is set up and that doesn’t disappoint…
I always thought this thing was on bags or something considering how slammed it is but it turns out that it is just on adjustable coilovers. The whole shock tower and bay had to be modified just to get the car to sit at this height consistently. Quite a bit of work but it definitely pays off because this thing is just incredible. The motor is nice and tidy too.
3-Series BMW coupe on new Work Seeker wheels…
Rocket Bunny S13 Silvia on meaty Work Meister S1R…
Another bad ass VIP build on display at the G Edition event was this Toyota Crown Athlete on deep step-lip SSR Professor MS3. This is an instance where the sport VIP style fits the chassis and this is the sportier version of the famed Crown line in Toyota’s lineage…
EK Civic hatchback on new Work Seeker DX…
VIP F50 Cima tucking OZ Futuras….
OsakaJDM EK hatchback on their signature Loop5 wheels that are produced by Work Wheels…
Slammed Gojira on black Enkei RPF1…
Pristine black FC3S Savanna on Trafficstar RTS wheels rocking GP Sports G-Four aero…
UCF30 Celsior pasted to the floor on BBS LM-R. Can’t think of the name of the aero kit at the moment. Almost looks like a kit that’s been modified…
This unique gem of a vehicle is known as the “Squalo R” which is actually a highly custom-modified Toyota MR-S. Though it looks unrecognizable now, the MR-S is still powered by a 2ZZ-GE motor but has a 6-speed manual conversion. I did some hard searching and found the owner’s Minkara blog but it doesn’t provide too much info on the build itself. Gotta admit, it’s a pretty crazy looking car. You wouldn’t even think it was an MR-S. I had a couple of friends stare at it for a good amount of time and none of them could figure out what it was and we are long-time car guys….
Another favorite of mine from G Edition was this UCF20 Celsior. I just love the simplicity of it and I’m sure you guys already know that I love SSR Professor MS3s because I have a set of my own. Great job with the custom fender work and the dark green color choice which isn’t that common of a color for traditional VIP builds….
It’s always cool to see really clean, modified first generation Toyota Celicas. The color really pops on this one and the custom bodywork looks to be done very well. I like the front finisher piece that is done in acrylic that covers the headlight area. Very sleek…
Custom metallic orange paint that has been done in a custom marble-like finish on this 180SX wearing a complete 326Power aero kit. Also note the custom headlights and how that section of the hood is done in a different marbleized tone to match the roof and side mirrors….
This S15 Silvia features molded in fender flares and a custom front splitter that is attached to an OEM Spec R front bumper. Like the 180SX above, it also wears a two-toned color scheme with a contrasting finish on the Work Meister M1R wheels…
Boosted Rocket Bunny Version 1 Toyota 86 on a brand new Work VS wheel that has yet to be released…
This V8-swapped Toyota 86 with individual throttles was crazy. It is still in an unfinished state but so far so good. It even has STI brakes up front and the front bumper has yet to be color-matched. The flared front fender is a Todoroki piece. Wheels are the new Work Emotion D9Rs…
OsakaJDM’s newest project car is this LHD Acura Integra on their Loop5 wheel…
4-Door DB8 Integra looking nice and simple on BBS LM wheels…
Masaki Maeda’s Honda Integra Type R that’s been recently repainted sitting on 17×10/10.5 Barramundi Design Raycods…
Brest Total Auto Body Service had a couple of Accord wagons on display, one of them being this aggressively styled CD Wagon…
…and this CH9/CL2 Accord Wagon SiR on SSR Professor SP3s…
I’ve always been a huge fan of Masahiko Sagawa’s RB Odyssey Absolute and I’m glad that he’s a loyal supporter of The Chronicles and always reps the site on his car…
Toyota Altezza with a rare TRD Neo front bumper and black Advan Model 5s….
Nakagawa Shuichi’s TRA Kyoto Rocket Bunny 180SX ondeep-lipped Work Equip wheels. Interesting tubbed engine bay set-up covered in a two-tone finish. It’s hard to see the other side of the car in this photo but his rear driver’s side glass has been removed and in its place is a sheet metal cover that has a fuel cap that delivers fuel to the fuel cell that rests in the trunk of his 180SX. Pretty nutty build…
Z33 Fairlady from Star Dast with retrofitted Z34 Z headlights. Almost had to make a double take because I thought it was a 34 at first, but looking at the rear and how straight it is, in combination with the aero, it’s definitely a Z33…
Junya Nakata’s ER34 Skyline GTR on gunmetal Advan GT wheels…
Nice color combo on this R35 running a U.S. APR Performance carbon front lip…
Toyota AE86 Trueno in classic red/black two-tone on Work Meister CR01…
One of the coolest builds at the G Edition event was this old Daihatsu Charmant outfitted with a 20-valve 4A-GE swap and Keihin individual throttle bodies…
Rauh Welt Begriff Porsche 930, better known as “RWB Kamiwaza” on gold step-lip Work VS-XX…
Classic Skyline GT sedan looking good on Glow Star wheels produced by Star Road Japan…
Noriyaki Miyamoto’s personal RB26-swapped S30Z on display at the Barramundi Design Wheels booth. This Z also features a custom retrofitted R33 Skyline interior as well…
M CONFIDENCE Nissan Fuga on WORK Gnosis CV201…
Closing out Part 3 of 3 with this Toyota MR-S that looks pretty good despite the floppy XXR wheels…
Well, that’s a wrap on the StanceNation G Edition Coverage. Thanks for looking and hopefully you enjoyed your look into the Japanese tuning scene….
Reblogged this on Curiosidades na internet.
the 86 with black bumpers is an 86 RC version. came from the dealer having black bumpers, and stripped interior (RC=race configuration). the todoroki fenders were in black before it was color matched, and yet they still left the bumpers in black. the fenders were made by TRA rocket bunny, hence it looks similar too. the engine swap is a very recent modification http://midnightroulette.wordpress.com/2013/12/01/dream-project-%E8%BD%9F%E8%87%AA%E5%8B%95%E8%BB%8A-86-specialist/ 🙂
The fab work on that hardbody is insane. It looks to have S chassis suspension up front now instead of the torsion bars they come with. I’d like to see the rear suspension setup if there are any pics of it. Aloha!
