Autocon Los Angeles 2015 Coverage…

Hopefully most of you have had a chance to watch the latest Vlog which covers the Autocon LA event. If not, I invite you to go to the post directly below this one to check it out. I chose not to shoot as many photos as I did in the previous years for this event because I simply did not have time to go through all of it. I left for Japan the following Monday after Autocon and one day just wasn’t enough time to go through the photos and post them up on the site. Video is a bit easier for me to do because I can cover more in less time. I even tried processing all the video and editing it into one consolidated piece before I left but there just wasn’t enough time available. I did like, half of it, and then had to spend the rest of my time packing for my ten-day-long stay in Osaka, Japan. I figured if I did manage to do photo coverage as I normally do it would be completely irrelevant for me to post up by the time I got back because too much time would have elapsed. We move so quickly these days when it comes to viewing content online that event coverage two weeks later then the actual event date would be “old news”. There are so many people shooting these days and covering events that I felt that you’d be tired of seeing photos from the Autocon event. Especially with events like Autocon where it caters to a younger crowd. These up and comers are trying desperately to become the next “recognized” photographer and will throw up photos the moment they get home. I’d rather give those guys the opportunity to showcase their work so I did a video blog instead. I have an unlimited amount of access to this event inside and out so it would be way more interesting to see actual point-of-view footage of what I experienced at Autocon LA 2015…

Again, make sure to check out the video because it provides a much more dynamic view than the usual coverage you’ll see anywhere else. In any case, that morning, I actually did attempt to take photos to cover Autocon and they have been posted up below. I started shooting while doing video and it just became a little overwhelming. I had brought my own car out for the show as well so I was also working with the guys in my crew to set-up the parking. Anyways, there was a lot going on. I started shooting and just decided to do strictly video instead. Sorry for the lack of photos but below is what I captured. Thanks to Justin Fong and staff for the hospitality and the invite to the event. I enjoy watching this show’s growth and I wish them much success in the future. Enjoy…

Rocket Bunny GTR reppin’ R1 Concepts, yet it ironically, does not have R1 Concepts brakes…. **EDIT** Apparently, some people saw the previous statement as some sort of attack on the owner’s car. For that, you are indeed too sensitive. I was just messing around as usual but people love to make a big deal about stuff. R1 is actually developing a brake kit for the R35 as I type this and it will be equipped on the car soon. The owner actually notified me after people made a big deal out of it and it was all cleared up. Let’s move along now…

  3. Bulletproof bought the RWB Porshe from the original owner overseas.

  4. I think the Chevlon’s look better on Mikey’s Integra than the CCW’s did. Just me though. Amazing coverage as always Joey!
