The annual SEMA event is always an interesting mix of custom vehicles. I try to cover most of it but it is prety much impossible to do since the show is so massive. I think last year I went a little too in-depth covering everything that was going on that it became a little difficult to follow. Plus all the partying that goes with SEMA is so tiring that I always find myself going to the show less and less and the week-long event goes by. This year, I decided to streamline things and cover only the show.
Part 1 covers mainly the first day of the event. There were some good builds that we specifically wanted to see so we made sure to cover them the moment we first got there. One of the builds that we were anxious to see on display in its completed state was Big Mike’s Prelude. Ryan, the entire crew from Rywire, Big Mike, and some other helpful friends had been working long and hard to get the car ready for SEMA. It was set to compete in the “Battle of the Builders” competition so everything had to be perfect to be on par with its competiton. We check out the South Hall, which is known as the Wheel & Tire Hall, and check out Mikey’s Porsche in the Toyo Tires booth. From there, we move forward toward the front of the show and cover everything that catches our eyes. Enjoy…
