A day after we arrived back home from Japan, it was already time for the 2017 Eibach Honda Meet. As I mentioned before, I shortened my trip in Japan specifically to attend the Eibach event in Fontana, CA. I’d be going to the show since maybe its second or third year so I wasn’t about to miss out on the opportunity to see some of the finest Honda builds in California. This event is huge. It has outgrown its many venues where it has been hosted and for this year, they moved the annual event to the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana. This venue is used more for race events but the area is so wide open that it is almost perfectly suited for an event of this size. The biggest change this year turned out not to be the venue, but the weather. The Eibach Honda Meet has always been remembered for being one of the hottest of the year, but strangely enough, a storm was passing through Southern California so it was uncharacteristically cold.
Both Der and myself did filming at the Eibach event, with myself using the typical set-up of a GoPro Hero 4+ and gimble, while Der was testing out his new GoPro Hero 5. The 5 was operated without a gimble so it does get shaky in some parts, so please bear with us. Enjoy and check out some of the Hondas from the 2017 Eibach Honda Meet!
