One of the main reasons why I returned to Japan yet again on this particular trip with Ryan Der was to attend this year’s Attack event at the Tsukuba Circuit. I had so much fun last year being at Tsukuba for the first time that I had a feeling I would be back, but wasn’t sure when being that the guys from JDMYARD weren’t participating this year and William Au-Yeung, last year’s record-breaker, wrecked his car some months after. Sometimes things just work out perfectly and Attack lined-up with the Osaka Auto Messe event and was exactly a week apart, so Der wanted to check it out for himself. I wasn’t going to say no so we immediately booked our tickets and also dragged Yasu along with us to Tokyo. Attack is a special event being that it not only is held at a world famous track but some of the cars that show-up to compete are just completely insane. This is a long episode because I didn’t want to split it in half, being that it made more sense to just leave it in its complete form. I’d rather have you take in the entire event and some of the fastest time attack cars in Japan all in one sitting.
