Well this was a fun one…

A couple months ago, Ken from Wekfest came to me with the idea of possibly gathering some cars from California for our Northwest stop of the tour. I was surprised frankly, because it was something we had never done before and only half-imagined over the years. The idea was inspired by the old import drag racing events of old where competitors from different states would travel with their cars to other parts of the country to compete against each other. He had a couple of cars in mind but wanted to know if I would be down to transport my EK9 up to Seattle. I was a bit worried at first since the car has never really left my side since it landed in California but this seemed like a great opportunity to not only showcase the car in a different region, but also to cruise around in it in a whole new region. I love the car community up in the Northwest so we figured out the logistics, rounded up some of the best in California and made the journey north…
