Just when I thought I had already seen all the Hondas in Japan already…

The day after the Finest car show, it was back to the same venue again but for a totally different event! This was a Honda-dedicated show called the “Chan-Oka Honda Meet” or simply, CHM4 since it is the fourth edition. If you watched this channel then you have a good idea what this event is already since I’ve been to the previous ones. This is a curated group of Hondas that dedicate their styling and execution of their cars on how enthusiasts in North America do it, with particular emphasis on the West Coast. These guys study source material from the past like print magazines and old forum photos to try to bring a mix of traditional JDM with West Coast Honda culture. This is the first event outside of the regular venue they used in the past and provided a interesting backdrop to some classic Japanese car builds. I was asked to choose a car to win an award and it was a pretty easy one this year. I saw it as soon as I started walking around and there wasn’t anything that was going to change my mind…
