The RS Future K20 Turbocharged NSX Is Pure Insanity.

Holy crap, you might want to adjust the volume on your devices for this one! This NSX is BANANAS. Over the past two weeks, the boys have been getting the “Koyorad x Battlecraft x RS Motorsport x Stanceworks NSX” ready for the Super Lap Battle event hosted by Global Time Attack. There have been a ton of changes to the NSX this year so there was a lot to do leading-up to it. The car was basically in pieces so there was no time to waste! Amir catches us up on all the recent developments before we head to SP Engineering to tune the turbocharged K24. I don’t think you’ll find many Honda K-series engines that sound and breathe literal fire like this one, you gotta see it for yourself!!

Wekfest Seattle 2021 Coverage… Part 2…

Wekfest Seattle 2021 Coverage… Part 2…

I was really trying to get this post up before I left for SEMA so I could just press the “Publish” button while I was in Vegas but I just simply ran out of time. The night before I left, I actually didn’t even get a chance to sleep. There was so much going on over the weekend that I didn’t even pack my suitcase until 4AM Tuesday morning—and my flight was at 9AM, lol. It’s been a crazy month, I swear. It went from being a 2-year layoff to everything happening all at once. Two Wekfest events, Japanese Classic Car Show, SEMA, all in the span of about four weeks time! And next month I have another Wekfest event in San Jose plus Super Lap Battle…

Wekfest Seattle 2021 Coverage… Part 1…

It feels so good to be back on the road again. With all that has happened the last two years, I couldn’t have been happier to hop back onto a plane to go see some new things in another city. To be honest, it almost felt normal. Getting to the airport and feeling that intensity from the hustle of everyone on the move felt a little intimidating at first, but then that old familiarity came back. I was busy again, but like, a satisfying busy. Where you lay your head on your pillow at night and you feel accomplished. Boy did I need that…

Back On The Road For Wekfest Seattle!!… CHRNCLS Vlog 2021 #20

Boy does it feel good to be back on the road again! It seems like forever ago since we’ve traveled for Wekfest but the show series is back now to close-out 2021. This was an interesting one because we go back-to-back for Seattle and Los Angeles for the first-time. We made sure to find some time to relax and just hang-out however, before the madness begins. Like my other visits to the Pacific Northwest, I make a traditional visit over to my friend Terry’s house where they were prepping their cars for the show. There’s plenty to see in this one, enjoy!

Honda Homecoming 2021 Coverage… Part 2…

Hmm… I, uhh, kinda don’t have anything else to say about this event. Lol. I think with the previous post and it circulating online as well as through social media, I developed a good understanding of how people feel about it. If you’re on the inside, you’re gonna defend the position of those who were and have always been a part of this event. If you’re not, you either have a good grasp of what I was trying to explain or simply do not care enough about it to give it your time. Some of you are just here to see photos. I wouldn’t say that there was a wrong or a right. It’s just all dependent on perspective. If anything, I saw it as a small social experiment to see how people would react…

Hopefully many of you have seen the Vlog episode about this event and have heard some of my thoughts on it. I was expecting a more polarizing response but I suppose people are familiar enough with this event, since its been around for some years now, and have already formulated their own thoughts on it. I was never even supposed to go to this event and was brought in last minute as a guest of sorts, so I won’t be too harsh about my criticisms, lol. I’ll actually be very nice about it, okay? Because overall, it’s a good event. Correction: it’s a very VERY good event—if you happen to own an S2000, an NSX, or an FK8. If you don’t own one of those models, you don’t have to give a fuck about this, because they don’t give a fuck about you either. And that’s as blunt as I can put it. I feel like it would have been necessary to call this the “Honda Homecoming” with an asterisk at the end, because it’s not really “Honda” vehicles as a whole. It’s just those three particular platforms I mentioned with a sprinkle of Integra Type Rs and display vehicles brought in by vendors.

Brekkie Sunday Service January 2021 Photos…

I didn’t originally intend to take photos of these events before because I had only been to one prior, and wasn’t aware at that time that it would become an event I would go to regularly. And by ‘regularly’ I mean I’ve been to TWO. Lol. But I captured some pretty good photos so I thought I’d compile them here and start posting more photos from these gatherings whenever I go since there are some interesting cars that show-up. The Brekkie Car Club “Sunday Service” events are just meets held every few weeks (usually on Sundays) at Rodeo 39 Public Market. It’s a new food spot down in Stanton, California at the plot of land that used to house the one and only Super Autobacs in the USA. Autobacs shut down years ago and because of the bad economy during that period, the entire area and surrounding businesses suffered. Most of them shut down and eventually that land just became sort of abandoned, other than the DMV, which took over the massive defunct Autobacs facility to service the state of California. Eventually the DMV shut down as well and the entire area was completely leveled and reborn to what it is today. Rodeo 39 launch recently but because of the ongoing ‘thing’ that’s affected our world, it hasn’t seen the type of outpouring of business they had expected during development. So people who are associated with Rodeo 39 decided to start hosting events there to bring people to the local business hub and provide a safe space for car enthusiasts to congregate. My friend Jonathan Wong started telling me about these meets and I decided to go see it for myself. The most recent one was pretty big. Way bigger than I thought it would be because the first event I attended was a decent size, but I wouldn’t say it was ‘packed’. This last one was pretty packed. To the point where I think people that didn’t know about the meet were annoyed because so many car enthusiasts had packed the lot. Even with the amount of people there, it didn’t seem too sketchy as everyone abided by the rules to wear masks and stay generally 6-feet away from one another. They tried their hardest. I still get nervous about being out and about with a bunch of people but I stuck around and tried to experience the meet the best I could. I wish I had taken more photos, to be honest, because the day before we had some rain which always makes photos look good with the water reflecting light off the ground.
