Back with the conclusion of our two-part Hellaflush Kansai 2012 coverage. Hopefully you all have taken the time to go through all the coverage as of late. I know for many of you it may take some time to load everything up but I love posting good photos so that’s just how I roll, haha. Not much else to say really about Hellaflush Kansai other than I wish sometimes that I spent half the year living in Japan so I could cover all this good stuff for you guys. It’s a good thing though that I have these Japanese enthusiasts overseas who are down to take photos and let me use them. Otherwise, we’d be missing out on a lot of great cars. With that out of the way, let’s just dive right into the rest of the Hellaflush Kansai photos…

Thanks once again to Makoto Onoda aka Makotoman for providing these wonderful shots from Japan…

The general online responses for Takuya Nishikawa’s Accord have been overly positive so here is another shot of it… Loving the way this build is going and I can’t wait to see updates on it in the future…

A new international favorite of mine in 2012 is this K20 EF…

One of the reasons why I like it so much is because it just looks so raw…It’s far from perfect but it has a good combination of parts and the overall package comes together very well… I would love to be able to see some video on this thing on the track..

Another shot of the S30Z bearing the Barramundi Design livery… It would have been cool if there was a shot of the engine bay but I didn’t see anything from Onoda-san… I’ll dig around and see what I can come up with… I believe a shop by the name of Common Snapper built this Z and it actually has a 3-rotor wankel motor in it. You can see the exhaust pipes exiting through the front fender in the photo…

Here is a look at the custom dash inside of the S30Z…

Actually here’s a quick video profile of it. It’s only like 54 seconds long but you can catch a glimpse of the bay. Great work by Common Snapper…

Unsure of what the significance of the jumper cables on the license plate is but this is the same wagon that I posted up photos of from the Exciting Car Showdown in Nagoya a month or so back… Jumper cables make for an interesting shot anyway…

Speaking of interesting, check out this custom low profile floor jack that someone made…has spherical joints up front for the wheels and everything….

This Evo was also interesting…whether or not it is on the good or bad end of the spectrum is up to you the viewer…

A lot of custom airbrush work on this 180SX to make it resemble a U.S. military vehicle… Even the wheels have been refinished to match…

7231318722_98063ef093_o

It wouldn’t be a Hellaflush event without someone rocking some demon or “oni” camber… I personally think it ruins the flow of the vehicle but a lot of people are really into the look….

8-inch SSR Mesh wheels…haha…I’m sure they’re like 13s or something…

This Audi TT is just beautiful on BBS LMs… You might imagine that something like this is on air suspension but it’s not. It is actually static like this and is lowered on coilovers from popular Japanese tuning company; 326power… If you haven’t heard of these guys you should look them up. The cars that they produce are just sick…

Aggressive TE37Vs on this Ferio…

B4 Subaru Legacy on Volk TE37SL… Random but the side mirrors look pretty cool… The car as a whole looks good actually…

Another B4 Legacy…Very similar to the one above. STi decal on the fender might indicate that this could be a STi S400 or S401 model, but I don’t know enough about them to tell you for sure…

Mark Arcenal hopping into this S13 Silvia to attempt some right hand drive drifting….

Arcenal getting together for a photo-op with some Japanese enthusiasts… You can spot the Tra-Kyoto 6666 Silvia in the background but it looks far from its prime these days…

Hellaflush decals for everybody…

Here’s another shot from the morning of the event…these three Hondas are probably the cars you’re most interested in seeing in this coverage anyway…

That’s pretty much it. Below I have two 1080P desktop size images for you guys as a bonus…These came out so clear so I decided to save a couple in high resolution…

  1. kick ass! thanks for putting up part 2 so quickly =] I’m a sucker for older mitsu’s. The fitment is a little off on the rear for that E4 though…that’s what I hated about the rear fenders of the non-widebody E4’s the fenders are so flat and there isn’t much room in there to fit a nice and wide wheel. Although that red-Lancer GSR from USDM Jam had some pretty crazy fitment on it…practically the same body. The K-EF and that Accord are definitely the highlights for me and you gotta egg Makotoman into getting us updates on that Accord =] Thanks for the wallpapers!

  2. What is the name of the wheels on the k20 ef hatch?

  3. I agree joey that ef looks pretty raw in this race-like look. Something awesome about it. Just different maybe? I dunno about paint on the sidewalls but i think it might be the new trend? Either way accord and the ef is my fav not to mention that wankel 240 from common snapper is sick. The sounds that motor emits is pretty insane. Saw some vids about it. Think youtube cant remember

  4. I enjoyed reading your blog, and great pictures by the way:)

  5. 9th photo down with the car jack in it…..Ummmm, what’s up with the swastika?
Is there a WW2 Panzer tank out there that’s hellaflush?

  6. expect alot of haters of being Hellaflush or those who just sipmly do it low and slow..most of their reason is the functionality of it like you cant speed alot, very dangerous on the road, cant do fast corner cause of fender rubs etc.. for me its all good since cars are not just for transportation means anymore but also an attainment, passion and possession of your own style, personality and expression of our own self and knowledge .for/to me,i can sipmly compare it too our different clothing styles, looks or inspiration like we have Hiphop, punkrock, conyo , rugged, formal etc and those have different downs when it comes to our performance in some ways like we coudnt run fast, do splits, acrobatic athletic or sporty moves, play basketball great, go swimming, do high kicsk etc We rock it sipmly because we’re not always or atleast most of our times are not in those mood ..we are just casual and yes we likes being stylish by our own creative, intelligent, loud, silent, weird and even empty thought of our mind simple to wild, we style but if you really care about running fast, wear light comfortable shorts or jogging pantsif you care about doing hoops, then wear your basketball attire..if you care about swimming, remove your shoes your top! be naked..MMA fight? then go wear those MMA shorts, karate jujitsu gi or whatever .etc etc so the question is are we always in those mood?in the scene for those to concern about functionality?same on the street and with our cars who cares if we’re hellaflush or low as our style?our stance? and also should i say more cautious? We dont speed a 150kmh all the time right or do slalom on public right?..and i think its better than having the capability of being so fast and careless unless you’re that hardcore road rage, track, strip, rally dude then thats the time you can reason it all out to the world why you cant do it.. just from my pocket .
