Nisei Showoff 2012: GENERATIONS Coverage…Part 4…

Here we go with the fourth installment of our ongoing Nisei Showoff 2012: GENERATIONS coverage. I took a break yesterday to catch up on a number of things since I was so busy planning the event and what not the last couple of weeks. Today we are going to take a look at the rest of the cars at Nisei because contrary to what you’ve been seeing in the first three parts, there actually were other cars there besides the GENERATIONS groups, haha… It was so hot that day that I really didn’t want to walk around that long in the sun but I didn’t want to pass up on the opportunity to check out what the show had to offer. There have been tons of shows this year so I was probably going to run into the same cars as usual but I still made the rounds anyway. You never know when you’re going to run into a friend or something, you know? And I’m willing to walk around in the heat to chat with people. The bulk of the coverage today is actually of the other cars at the event, some Hondas, most aren’t. I’m gonna close out the day with some more stuff form the GENERATIONS group and Part 5, maybe 6 if there is one, will consist of the end of the day with the awards ceremony and everything else. Those are actually some of my favorite shots from the day because the sun was out of the way and it helped to produce some great photos…

Thanks to everybody that’s been supporting the site and picking up the limited edition GENERATIONS 2012 decals. Hopefully you guys picked up more than one so you can hold onto them for safe keeping. I know personally for me I set aside a couple just for the memories of the day. They are still available if you’re interested at the link below…

GENERATIONS 2012 Limited Edition Decals Available Here….

Additionally, if you missed any of the previous three portions of the Nisei Coverage, please take the time to look at them and read through all of it…

Now, part four…

A view of what spectators walked into when first arriving at the gate at Nisei Showoff…this was a serene moment for me. I kinda just stood there and took everything in and for those few moments, I didn’t worry about anything….This shot right here is hard working paying off…

Anyways, here are some other cars that were at Nisei that day…

Rob Smith’s Civic on BBS RS wheels…

Eddie’s TSX on black Enkei NT03s…

First time seeing this black TSX on Mugen GP wheels and Mugen front bumper…

Definitely an interesting look… I think I still prefer the Spoon Sports/Phase bumper more but it’s not bad….

Jesse Sabater’s custom widebody, matte orange, R35 GTR…

Ryan DeGuzman’s RX-7 from R-Rydes…

Jamarri Whiteside’s Subaru STi, which was in very close competition with Chris Dunbar’s Subaru…

While Whiteside’s Subaru is much more eye-catching, I think the engine bay of Dunbar’s is what sets the two apart…

Randy Riggs’ award-winning Infiniti G35 coupe also from R-Rydes…

Annie’s Integra on white Advan RGs from Street Image Performance…

Darren Wong’s Mugen-themed EM1 Civic on bronze Volk CE28s, also reppin’ Street Image…

AE86 Hachi Roku wearing aero from Japanese tuning company “Goodline”…

Ryan Romaine’s Datsun Bluebird…

Really liked how this Evo looked on Advan TCIIIs…never seen them in person with caps on before….

Derrick Yee’s supercharged Pontiac GTO from Team Bosozoku with Aussie Holden Monaro front end conversion and gold SSR MS1s….

Always stop to take a moment to look at the Mazda RX-4 from Ranz Motorsports…

Interesting Toyota 2JZ-GE VVTI swap in the RX-4…

Really widebody Volkswagen GTI on HREs…. Would look cool if the wheel didn’t look all tweaked in the rear…

Andrew Lim’s Toyota Supra from the Vanguard Collective…

Eulises Torres Honda S2000 on Work VS-TX…

The newest member of Tony’s Vanguard Collective car club…

Keith Cheng aka Keychain’s Accord on MB Battle wheels…

Linda’s TRD supercharged Toyota Matrix from Team Praxis…

Mickey Andrade’s AE86 Corolla coupe on HRE wheels…. This thing is actually F20C-swapped as well…

Erick’s Racing Engines brought out this slammed Toyota Hilux pick-up truck…

…as well as this 1970 Datsun 521 pick-up…

…with a boosted S2000 swap…

Joel Lago’s TE72 Corolla with 20 valve 3S-GE motor and ITBs…

For as long as I’ve been going to Showoff events, I’ve been seeing this rotary-powered Datsun 510, and that’s a long fucking time…haha…

If you look at his window you can actually spot all the decals from a majority of the Showoff events he has attended…

Now, back to the GENERATIONS line-up at Nisei Showoff… This is the back end of the first of four rows we had that day…

The four timeless DA Integras yet again…

Geoffrey Pascual’s Mugen S2000 representing Freshdrive…

Mike Huie’s K20 DC2 Integra… I had Mike be a part of the group because he is the owner of one of the original Socal import shops in our community, Pitcrew Motorsports…

DPK JP’s rootbear EG Civic on black Enkei J-Speeds…

A shot of DPK David’s engine bay…

Rear quarter shot of Sam Ip’s FA5 Civic on newly acquired Volk Racing TE37SLs…

Sam’s CT Engineering supercharger…

Had to stop by Junko’s Top Fuel Integra one more time….

I thought it was cool that they wrote down her old quarter-mile time… Yes, this turbocharged Integra ran a 11.64 at 125mph back in the early 2000s…I think one of the aspects that is missing from the Honda community these days is that the show cars back then not only looked good, but were fast as well…

Jeremy Duarte’s turbo DB8 Type R from Bandits has a bit of speed to back up its looks…

Jimmy Neitte’s K20 Civic with individual throttles…

RC’s turbo K20 bay…

Random shot of Danny Hernandez’s interior in his newly completed Civic…

Stopping here today with a shot of Arnel’s Civic…

Thanks for looking guys, we’re almost there, just one, maybe two more parts to go…
