Cherry Blossom Season…

Cherry blossom season always makes for some pretty scenic shots so I asked Yasu from Exceed to wake up early one morning to go get some photos of his EK9 CTR since I couldn’t be there to shoot them myself. Really wish the borders would open again so I could go back and stay for a while…

It’s been a while since I’ve last seen this CTR in-person and the only updates of its progress have come whenever Yasu has time to snap photos of it…

Originally this car started out as just a simple daily/fun car but since Exceed and Mode Parfume have been busy developing new products for the EK-chassis Civic, this completely stock CTR was the perfect candidate…

  1. Nice to be able to see Exceed Yasu catching up with everyone.

The Mode Parfume fender serves as another good option for anyone considering more aggressive wheel and brake setups.

What’s even better is seeing there is still development of parts in one form or the other for these cars and also its from Japanese based company (Osaka).

EK looks great showcasing possible wheel fitment sizes on this body style. Take care Yasu and friends. 🙂

Kind word to Yasu if he is ever able to visit the track in 2021, would love to be able see some cool content on Chronicles if you are ever able to visit the track like the old circuit and track day photos you shared a few years back.

Those were and are still very awesome! Thanks again for the photos to remind us of Honda Civic life and Japan.

  2. I love the fenders. Very subtle.
