As I get older, I’ve learned to appreciate the more subtle moments. Like moments you’d disregard or just accept as normal when you’re young. Something as simple as just going on a short cruise with your friends in the cars you don’t have much time for anymore. When you’re younger it’s just like an every day thing or an activity you do whenever you see your friends. If you love cars it’s just fun to go cruise around in them, make some noise, talk some shit. There’s no thought of just going in one car cuz it’s more convenient. Convenient isn’t fun…
It’s been a while since I went in a drive with @ryan.der. It’s not that I don’t see him, our cars just sit inside the shop. Most out of preservation but more so because of everything else going on in life. It’s rare for him to pull his Civic out cuz it’s not fully how he wants it and we have to move multiple cars out just to access it. Like it has to be a special occasion for it to come out. I have this S2000 now which I drive regularly but we’ve never went on a drive together until this past weekend. It was probably a year ago since the last time we did something like this….
@nanakogawa and friends were hosting a shindig so we put our other likely priorities aside and moved the cars outside for some fresh air and raspy exhaust notes. Our friend @philstarsays made a surprise appearance too. Sometimes we’ll go months, hell, even years without seeing him. This year I think I’ve seen him quite a bit. It’s reminder to check on your friends. We had to take some photos together to mark this momentous occasion. Life happens but go on a cruise some time with your friends. Your life will be better for it…

And just like that this was one of your best posts and reminders Joey. What a time for philstarsays to make an appearance. Could’ve pulled out his black s2k that day to match and have Yuta tag along from who knows where he’s been hiding..
