Been awhile since I’ve taken some photos of the Type R with my actual camera but decided it was a good time to do that with the new Exceed wing on. The wing itself is also full carbon but I decided to paint-match the top side to match the white Exceed front lip that is going back on imminently…

The main purpose of the photos though, is to show the double carbon fiber version of the Exceed front lip which is actually the “CHRNCLS Version”. The 2-piece carbon variation is only available exclusively through me. The FRP/carbon version is and has been available in North America through @battlecraftparts but for those that were interested in the double carbon, here’s your opportunity to finally get one…

The slight delay has been due to perfecting the manufacturing process with the new vacuum-formed carbon fiber. This process makes them both stronger and lighter whereas the prototype version that is on my FL5 is a bit heavier. Eventually I’ll switch over to the new one as well but for now, I’m gonna enjoy the paint-matched wing/lip. Fitment will be exactly the same, shaped tightly to the body lines of the OEM bumper being that they’re manufactured, like all Exceed aero parts, exclusively in Osaka, Japan…

The first two production CHRNCLS versions of the Exceed lip have been sold already but I’m going to start taking inquiries and pre-orders for those interested. Since production is all in-house in Osaka, these are made-to-order and will be drop-shipped from Japan to customers upon completion of each item…

Being that they’re full carbon fiber, I assume those who want this version won’t want them painted but you can have them finished in either a matte or gloss clearcoat…
