Osaka Auto Messe is one of Japan’s larger car shows annually. Very similar to Tokyo Auto Salon but from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t seem as big. There are a lot of the same cars though, being that the events are so close together,but I’ve taken the liberty of only including the ones that we hadn’t yet seen. Shimomukai-san was nice enough to get these photos to me immediately after the show ended but with Wekfest and everything else going on, I just haven’t been able to get to them until now. This series will be a couple of parts but it’ll be good because the photos show cars that we aren’t normally used to seeing on The Chronicles. That’s what is great about having friends in all parts of the world; we can all get together and expand our collective horizons. I won’t go into too much more detail about the event. I’ve never been and I wish I had all the time and money in the world to go see these types of shows in person, but that’s just a pipe dream at this point. We start off with Kazuya Kawashima applying a Chronicles decal to the windshield of his Honda Stepwgn… Good to know that the stickers I sent to Shimo-san is going to good use!…

Work Wheels went with the same display they had at Tokyo Auto Salon 2012 but this time we get to see the original iconic Work Equip wheel…

You can see the new Work Emotion line on the left with colored-spokes… The thin color accent lines seem to be a popular trend in Japan lately with different companies all using that idea…

DPK David might be interested in this pic since he was wondering if Work made the new Meister S1Rs in a smaller size. this looks to be a 16 or 17…

Work really spared no expense on this display…It’s got like spotlights and shit and anytime you have spotlights everything just looks fancier, haha…

Toyota 86 on the new Gram Lights 57Extreme wheel…I would say something like “this car is really starting to grow on me” like everyone else but I’ve been a big fan of this car since the concept was released and I can’t wait to fucking see these things built by different tuning companies…When I say “I can’t wait”, I mean that I’m going to patiently sit behind a computer for new photos to appear, haha…

Ever since my sister picked up a VW GTI, I’ve grown to love these things because they are just so much fun to drive. That really doesn’t have anything to do with the photo above though, other than the fact that I don’t know that much about it and I’m killing time until you move on to the next photo…Only thing I know about it is that it’s wearing aero from  Japanese VW tuner Voomeran… One of the best features of owning a kit like this is when someone asked you what car you drive and you tell them that you own a Voomeran Volkswagon. Then after you’re done spitting on them they won’t bother you anymore…

The GTi next to it looks sick though and I wish I had a photo of it…

If I were an Englishman, I would say this was a BMW Zed-4 because that’s how they pronounce the letter “Z”…stupid fact so I am just going to move on…
