Autocon 2012 was a great event and today we’re gonna close out the coverage with one more set of photos. Like usual, the closing portions of coverage usually contain random photos from the latter part of the day as well as cars that I may have missed earlier in the day. The late afternoon/early evening is usually the best time to shoot as the sun has started to set, providing less harsh lighting on the cars and people. During the day when I am walking through the event, there are times when I will want to snap a photo of a particular car but the lighting isn’t right. I make a mental note to make sure to come back towards the end of the day to try capture it. I’m still learning like many of you so I hope you guys are happy with the photos. Today’s post actually features some pretty nice builds that you may not have been as exposed to as much as the usual cars on here. …and it’s a good thing he was there because the creeps were out in full-force to see Canadian Dannie Riel, who was an absolute hit at Autocon… I honestly don’t know anything about her but people were going nuts to see this girl. When I say “people” I don’t mean just teenage boys and 55 year old creeps either, I’m talking females and all. Girls were lining up to see her and waiting for her autograph and shit, it was madness… Even some of the models there seem to be in a little bit of awe… I don’t know what she’s doing but keep doing that shit cuz it’s working, haha…

The economy has hit us hard within these last couple years so Hologram Tupac has been making the rounds at car shows to make some dough…You first saw him at Cochella, then at Wekfest LA where nobody cared and at Autocon, he was doing his thing with Import Fashion…
I heard from some individuals that the guys associated with Import Fashion and JDM Sport were a little upset by my comments in part 1. I didn’t really mean any disrespect to be honest, I just legitimately have no fucking idea what they do or sell, etc. I see the cars and the girls but other than that, I don’t know what they do and was just wondering. It’s a shame people are so sensitive these days. I mean, if you have a booth at an event for advertising purposes, it would help to know what you’re advertising. Seriously though, it was a legitimate question. People that know me know what I’m about; I’m a straight-shooter and I am blunt, sometimes too blunt, but I hope that you respect my candor and honesty. I’ve been in this whole scene/industry/whatever you want to call it way too long to sit here and try to bullshit and blow smoke up people’s asses. If you don’t like that then there’s nothing I can really do for you.

I cover events and cover everything I see…I often take over 800 photos at events, if there is something I’m doing that you don’t enjoy and you don’t want to exist on The Chronicles, or for whatever reason you have a problem with me, I can easily cut those 20 or so photos out. It will just make my life easier. I’m taking time out of my day to give you guys some spotlight here on a site that generates a good amount of traffic with fellow enthusiasts from all over the world. I AM NOT OBLIGATED TO DO SO. I will gladly casually pass by and save the memory/battery life on my camera.

My Q45 packed up and ready to head out. We managed to stick around for a little while after the show since the girls had made their way over to the mall next door to shop. We chilled and took in the cool air that was starting to roll in before taking home to go home to wash off the sun block…
