Haven’t done one of these in awhile but since the Year.IV anniversary event is coming up in less than a month, I figured today would be a good time to take a hop and a skip back in time to a year ago when the Year.Three event took place. It’s pretty crazy to look back at some of these builds because they’ve changed so much in just one year. Some are gone now, some have been tragically stolen and parted, and some have continued on to become some really great builds. There’s not much that needs to be said other than that. Those of you that missed out last year and are maybe new to the site will also have an idea of what the anniversary meets are like and what goes on. I was busy that day so I didn’t get to really cover the event until it was halfway over so there are some photos where the lot seems empty but it was actually filled for a majority of the day. This year’s meet looks promising and will probably be the biggest it has ever been so I look forward to seeing all of you there…

DPK Jared’s S2000 reappeared in 2012 finally with the bay completed… here it was in 2011 when we pulled it out for the event…

Frank’s EG was missing for most of 2012 and will probably re-emerge in early 2013 with it’s new motor set-up…

Mike Mao’s NSX has probably progressed the most of all the cars at Year.Three….in 2012, he went the twin-turbo route and acquired him a set of 24K Mugen MF10s…I’m sure the majority of you recognize his NSX these days…

Ka Wong’s Corolla was missing for most of the year as well because it was down at JSP Fab getting a complete custom turbo kit made. He recently got the car back and showed off his new turbo F20C set-up at the 2012 Japanese Classic Car Show…

RC’s Civic was near completion in 2011 and spent most of 2012 at events throughout the west coast. He went with an entirely new turbo set-up and his Civic looked the best it ever has…

Big Steve’s LS400 hasn’t changed much at all and it doesn’t have to since it was perfect the way it was…

Year.Three also played host to Ruckus enthusiasts who rode all the way down to Corona to hang out…

Can’t seem to recall seeing a whole lot of this Civic in 2012 but it was looking good on RE30s at Year.Three…

Teddy’s Civic had a makeover in 2012 and is probably in its best state as it appears now…he went for a more two-toned look in 2011…

Sad to say but Quan’s Integra was one of the Hondas that was a victim of theft in 2012… It is long gone now and was stolen and stripped completely…

Justin Fong’s Civic remained unchanged from how you see it in this photo. Autocon has taken up a majority of his time and it looks to be paying off for him…

Ly Say’s TSX was parted and sold in 2012 and it is one of those builds that I wished were still around…

Haven’t seen my buddy Jeff and his Civic in awhile… Hope to catch up with him at this year’s anniversary meet…

Lance Uchida’s Civic was another Honda that ended up being a victim of theft in 2012…The craziest thing about it was that his Civic was stolen in broad daylight, in the parking lot at an event that he was at…It was later recovered and also was completely stripped…

Year.Three was the first time I got to see David Nguyen’s Integra in person…
