Tatsuhiko Murata’s Mugen-themed S2000 featuring a Mugen SS front bumper, Mugen MF10 wheels, and a Mugen rear wing…
Inside you’ll find a set of Mugen MS-R seats made by Recaro as well as a Mugen 5-point roll-bar which has been color-matched to the S2000…
A look at the rear reveals a Mugen SS rear bumper and Mugen dual-exhaust…
You don’t see very many Mitsubishi GTOs these days, other than perhaps the PIT ROAD M car but here’s a clean, wingless, example on display at the Wreckin’ Meet…
White Ferio looking like a livery-less JTCC car at this low ride height with the rear wing and Mugen front lip…
At one point during the show, the Wreckin’ Meet ladies were like “Hey boys, anybody want some ice cream? Hold on let me get some change…”….
“Oh wait, there might be some change back here…let me check… Oh hey girl, you got some change on ya?”….
…and the boys were like “Uhh, nah, we don’t want any ice cream, we’re good…”…
What they actually wanted were awards and there were plenty of awards to go around thanks to the event sponsors who each presented their own specialty award for their choice picks of Wreckin’ Meet 2016…
You can almost feel the awkwardness of this photo oozing through your screen…
One of the participants was all smiles after receiving his award…
At some point Yuya Yusunari decided that it was a family-event and had them put on the latest and greatest street wear from the U.S….
“These hoes is crazy, I’m telling you!! They’re not even Anti-Social at all but actually very very social!…”
Honda Vezel looking pretty solid on 19-inch TEs…
Winning so many awards must be such a task…
Another deserving award-winner for his 1st generation VW Golf…
Another of Murata’s Mugen SS S2000…
The blue anodized caps on the bronze is so good…
Randomly in the parking lot was this Lowrider Impala sitting on Daytons…
Hashiba’s Cressida-styled Mark II…
Ito’s Mugen Odyssey sits so perfectly on Mag Blue TEs…
Makoto Kikuchi gathered up the family and headed-out…
Trueno and Levin…
The Inazuma Worx Trueno sits with a lot more camber thanks to retrofitted suspension of the non-Corolla variety…
Just a perfect car build and one of those truly great cars that need to be appreciated in person…
Two very different ways of styling an 80s Japanese icon…
The gangs all here. Thank god nobody was trying to Dab…
Morohashi’s PS13 and Miyashita’s AT Civic…
Ogihara on the move…
Amazing ride height on Morohashi’s Silvia…
…as well as Fujii’s Karmann Ghia just tucking those Carving Head 40s…
A couple more of Ogihara’s EF…
Morohashi and his Silvia…
Beautiful sunset at a rest stop on the way home…
Love the Japanese-inspired strike-through on the U.S. Cali license plate…
Everybody loves their gas station shots…

Classic BMW 2002 on the road…
Yamashita cruising on his Porsche Fuchs wheels…
It’s always nice to see a Levin every now and then in a sea of Truenos…
Laying down some parks to keep everyone awake on the long journey home…
…And that’s a wrap on this series. Thanks for looking folks and thanks again to Shota Mori for the spectacular photos!…
