As much as this year has seemingly dragged on and on, I’m pretty surprised that all of a sudden, Year10 is already upon us. By the time you read this, we will be less than a 7 days away from the event. I’m pretty excited about it and I know it’ll be a great time celebrating with everyone, but there is still much to do in terms of organization and prep. There are more vendors this year, as well as quite a bit of visitors from out of town so I think Year10 will be a memorable one. I’m still getting some last minute inquiries from some pretty great cars and I’m stuck not knowing how to squeeze them in because we are so full already and I’d like to leave some space so all the cars aren’t crammed together. I want everyone to be able to properly showcase their cars so as much as I’d like to include everyone, I gotta take care of the people who took the proper steps to register early on. Either way things will be great so I’m looking forward to the weekend. Once it’s all done and over with I’m just gonna relax in Vegas at the SEMA Show and not do a whole lot but stare and shit and talk to friends…
Before we get to Year10 though, I gotta show you guys the photos that I captured from Wekfest Houston. Pretty much all the photos were taken the morning of, as I really like shooting the staging area at this particular venue because it provides a unique ambiance that most other stops on the tour just don’t have. The only other stop that has a great loading area is Seattle and that’s just because it’s built around a football stadium and baseball park. Houston’s location just looks sick because it’s just so grungy-looking. It’s really rough outside and with the loading dock built right under a freeway overpass, the light that comes through in the morning just makes everything look so fucking epic. I love it. Part 3 will have some photos from inside the building but my favorite shots are actually in the first two sections. There is some really good stuff in this post so I’ll let you guys get right to it. If you haven’t watched the recent Vlog yet, make sure to catch that as well by clicking HERE. It covers our Texas trip and has some more footage of the cars inside the venue…
I gotta get back to work so enjoy the coverage and come back during the week for Part 3 of 3. Thanks!…
